  1. Couldn't see why not? Regs make no mention of using any footage taken
  2. Richo had i think 2 sessions of mine on his GoPro, so no doubt he'll upload that @ some point. There were heaps of other cameras too so hopefully more footage should appear. Here is one Martin has already done WORK WARNNING FOR COMMENTARY
  3. Added a disclaimer for ya Martin
  4. lol complete disregard doesn't do that bloke any justice, far worse than that... But it's what makes him quick! You just need to settle into the car a bit more mate. I daily drive mine so I've a fair idea of how it handles. Plus I've done a few SAU-Vic DECA days, which are a good place to test out grip levels etc. You should come along to those too. Interesting plot of the G's - you logging that from the onboard sensors?
  5. Yeah and there are heaps of snakes up there etc. Calder dont allow the use of the bank for spectators for this reason unfortunately, it wasn't something the event organisers had a say in. So unfortunately if you werent in the stands you would have struggled with all the tents from the drifters. I didnt realise they all had tents etc. Would have blocked viewing massively From a driver point of view - great event, had an absolute ball - Congrats to Richo who pipped my 58.7 in the last session with a 58.2 of his own. Absolutely balls to the wall driving and great steering indeed. I'd go back to the Dome for a similar event in a heartbeat. I might even look at trying to run a SAU-Vic event there if people are keen. I think its a really awesome experience.
  6. Also Congrats to Adam Newton (Techsport EVO) - Taking outright honours as well. Was a clean sweep for SAU-Vic members (Adam is a member too) in all classes. Massive Congrats to Richo for winning Street class with a 58.2 (super huge balls to do that on near dead rubber) on the last session of the day to beat my 58.7 ... before i hit a tyre barrier and tookout my front lip, under-tray and what not else I've not noticed yet Pretty happy with my car overall given it's the first real track event I've done in it, need MOAR! Brian - I would say anything under 56sec on semis was moving, and anything under 1min on streets was the same. Paul - Totally agree with your post/thoughts, was good to meet you as well finally. Huge Congrats to Amy, Andrew, Brett & other staff from Trackbattle/ADGP - some minor niggles but overall a great 2 days. I say do it @ the Thunderdome again next year, the bank is just fken awesome.
  7. On the day(s) there will be an area. Once worked out an email will be sent to everyone so they know
  8. http://www.saunats2011.com/entries/ Just select "Merch" and process it
  9. Brett - cannot say tbh. Times were considerably delayed for various reasons so hard to pin point an actual time. There are at least TWO track based sessions after 11am. That includes street and tuner class which run for 30-40mins at a time. Maybe more as there will be more cars entered tomorrow with a few SAU-Vic members doing Sun only
  10. Been in bed with pneumonia for past 2 weeks, only started to feel good 3 days ago. Gotta lay off for another 2 maybe 3 weeks according to the Doc, i still struggle to do a full day @ work. Farken...
  11. HUGE Day today. Great fun and not too much damage from the circuit guys. Drifters at least half the field destroyed i reckon lol. No timed sessions but a "hand time" i was under 1-min for a lap in the last practice today where i was 1:01 most of the day, pretty happy with that and absolutely awesome running around the dome on a 25 degree angle. Cannot wait for tomorrow. I believe we start @ 8:30am tomorrow first session. Second session just before lunch. And 3rd session middle of the arvo.
  12. Taking mine exactly how i drive it on the street. Rear seat removing pussies!
  13. Without going too far into it, you'll need to use DECA for at the least 10 weeks. Better off if used in a stack TBH. And without a proper PCT, you stand to lose most of the size anyway. It's as important as a cylce itself. There is plenty of info around, id suggest a good 2-3 days of reading first.
  14. Well the few things i checked. - Exhaust noise - Vehicle Emission controls (which covers ECU, PCV etc) Were the same in the Guidelines, and Stat Rules. And that is what 99% of people here are going to be pinned for Also the part you have referenced is simply the emissions part for Victoria dont forget. There is more too it like: Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009 That one also makes reference to ADR's and other things about emissions etc. I really CBFd trolling through it to see exactly what is referenced but my guess would probably say enough to make it a headache to then go and check each ADR.
  15. Reported posts are certainly working since the update that was made a few days ago. Email notification for PM & Convos is 100% working as well. You might need to re-jig your settings as mentioned earlier in this thread for Subscriptions
  16. Even @ the risk i know how this will turn out... Here is something i prepared earlier...
  17. Tyou'll have to be down as pit crew dude, mine is full. not sure bout doing it on the day, was gonna find that out on Sat he he.
  18. Good on ya - I've fought similar rubbish before from TMU's that simply have no idea of what the law actually is. Rarely do such things actually go to court as the review people just go "sigh, we will never win this" and it's thrown out.
  19. Oh nothing was just wondering if someone else brings a few bags of chips or something. I'm happy to bring the drinks etc. There looks to be a bit of downtime in some areas, i always enjoy kicking back and talking rubbish as i wont be watching drifting all day Although there is an issue with getting the Marquee i believe. Unless anyone has a ute that is free tomorrow night to collect from eastern burbs (to then bring it for Sat mornin?)
  20. Can't say I've really seen a bikie presence at all in 6-7 yrs of going up there semi-regularly. The strippers is a venue even I've never dared attend up there...
  21. So that guy was removed buy Russ and stuff wasnt added - poo lol Either way gonna be a fun event. I'll bring an esky along with some soft drinks etc. Anyone wanna volunteer to bring something else?
  22. Hang on a sec Martin, where you looking to see the name Bryce? I cannot see it on the site under Street Class: http://trackbattle.com.au/trackbattle/drivers-teams/round-1-calder-park-thunderdome/street-class/
