  1. He said they were modified, so who knows whats exactly gone on. Also there is no way a "GT-SS" combo will make 400rwkw for a start. So... Have to wait for the further info
  2. Not really, his result is nice and realistic, it is your result thats a little inflated. Which is normal for some dynos as there is a 10/15 variance easily enough. Stock RB25 turbos are only good for ~200rwkw @ 11-12psi

  4. 13psi is a time bomb on the stock turbo. Back it off to 10-11psi which is much safer.
  5. Does anyone else think it's a bit laggy for a 3ltr ^ 1.2bar/370rwkw? A GT35 would be doing similar and coming on much sooner. Especially with a 4000-6500rpm power band Exhaust might be an issue. Fuel reg isnt an issue, cooler isnt an issue. Boost drop will be wastegate related. If you wanna run 18psi - then get the spring combo closer to target boost and that problem will fix itself up much easier. Otherwise the EBC will never hold having to bleed that much off, you'll always get gate creep.

  7. I'm guessing they are laggier than a -5, so similar to a 2530 setup. Also can't remember if he is 2.6 or not
  8. Check the fuel pressure and you'll soon know if its the pump, or then the voltage. Either way should be fine so you have an issue somewhere. What CC are the injectors? You'd know if they were running out though due to duty cycle. Either way the Bosch isn't the answer just yet.
  9. Seen many Nismo's go into the 400-440rwkw region. 380rwkw for example is a walk in the park. Yours perhaps might be tired?

  11. Ye and it was an amount so small it was barely noticeable. It's used in farming so can be found in food traces.
  12. Can tell you now I've seen a good 3-4 dB drop, sometimes more, sometimes less. Totally depends on each setup as i said, too many variables from size of pipe, condition of mufflers etc. Usually a few small holes placed around is what is common. Just to note - it is illegal. EPA will also write down the configuration of the exhaust when you go for the TEST. So they will know you went in with a stocker. If you keep doing it, you'll eventually get called in for a full-ream EPA.
  13. +1 Yours has held 400rwkw now for how long? Mine is taken huge 7300-7500rpm launches on Drag Radials @ 380rwkw for 1.6-1.5 60ft times, without issue as well and no sign of dying. Hell Lee wah was running a Jim Berry custom single plate, and the car was making 440-600rwkw in various forms over 4 years without issue as well. His clutch was similar stock feel/weight as are the Nismo Coppermix Twins IMO no need to get a triple, they just cost more and are a pain in the ass to use, cost more to rebuild etc. No matter what clutch you use, if you cannot drive and ride the ass out of it - you'll make mince meat of the plates.

  19. There are 20 or so SAU Traders... All reasonably priced, all do shipping. Why wouldn't you just scroll down and use them?
  20. Got a dyno sheet with RPM/power & rpm/boost etc? Although you could have done that with Garrett -5s like we said, & saved quite a bit of money. Just a question of what is/isnt more responsive outta the two Plus GT-RS are a big, big turbo and capable of more than what you made, so stands to reason they would be laggier.
  21. There is a need to contest. EVERY single incorrect defect, fine & otherwise should be contested. If people stopped being such pussies and defended themselves - the courts would soon become clogged and the system would then be looked at. People rolling over are the reason people keep getting reamed. Any incorrect defect notice - I've taken to court. And will do so until i die.
  22. Also depends on clutch. If you get a twin plate, don't get a lightened flywheel for a daily driver. It'll make it nicer to actually use.
  23. And they also have a nice inflated price tag Given the price of 2nd hand exhausts in the FS section - you'll never be able to beat it. You can get a full cat-back for a GTS-T for the price of just a muffler almost these days I mean buying new/shiny is nice, but it's and exhaust and wont stay that way for long anyhowif you intend on driving it.
