  1. So you want people to pay - to put their car into a publication? Are you serious?
  2. What are you asking exactly or are you just telling us a story?
  3. I bet they probably think you've got enough problems in your life (read: the types of chicks that you like)
  4. ^ lol As for the power/turbo 385rwkw/520rwhp with boost (only 15psi) coming on 4800rpm - did i read that correctly? If so, that's fairly average mate. Also did i read that it's running on a stock motor as well? What trans did you use? 25box? I'm not sure any rebuilt SR box will take that for very long
  5. Seen a number of cars make 270rwkw now with GCG hi-flows, factory airbox also
  6. The outside looks the same - insides aren't
  7. Bigger Started life as a T51R though... Just got some mods
  8. It's not a T51R
  9. I'd imagine such issues would be resolved with the forum upgrade that is currently under BETA testing I will have a go when i have time to see
  10. EPA notices can take upto 6 weeks to arrive in the mail. So be patient, it's coming.
  11. Police are recognised estimators of speed. You could have played it smart and taken it to court and admitted doing 64-65 instead of 75. Been there, done that (apparently i was doing 140 in a 80, was pegged back to under 100). I went through it. Gathered my evidence, had my lawyer present it all etc. So based on the estimate in your case it would have been knocked back to 15km/h which i do believe it less than 25 over. Either way mate I doubt you were doing 50km/h, and so would the court unless you had some amazing eye witness accounts. Of which I'd imagine the Police would have witnesses which again puts you further behind the 8-ball. It makes sense you lose more money if you challenge an offence (Shan did say IF YOU ARE RIGHT) - otherwise every single idiot who thinks they are not in the wrong/not at fault/think they can lie would tie the court system up more than it already is. Its a good deterrent and they should increase the fines if you lose and make an ass of yourself
  12. Please read the forum rules. Items & prices - full list or this will be locked.
  13. One topic is more than enough - threads merged.
  14. I'm doing a DECA in 3 weeks with a mates club - I'll be there for Nov primed and ready fear not. Whether ill be any good or not with a cheater car... we'll find out
  15. OMG That is the w/e of Metallica... Christ... This gonna be an interesting juggling act Put me down Fri & Sat, double.
  16. Issue in a R35 GTR club would simply be numbers Tis a LOT of effort to organise such an endeavour for only 20/30 people that might be interested. As suggested - SAU QLD - Great choice. Don't worry about the ole "age" thing. Down here in Vic we have many member over 50 and they get along quite well with the mid 20's+ (our median age would be around 25). That's the thing when you are an enthusiast and keen, age becomes largely irrelevant when you share a common interest IMO
  17. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t93880.html Work out how much you want, what your budget is... Then read that thread and workout the costs based on the parts required. You'll soon see a pretty regular theme with either Garrett -9s or Garrett -5's being used depending on what you want (and there is a 10+ page thread dedicated to those turbos already)
  18. Agreed - 2nd hand AFM's are just as old, and just as much of a pain in the a$$ to sort out. $900? Get onto perfectrun - mine were about 750-800 delivered. But then I've not checked the exchange rate lately so they might be a bit more expensive ATM
  19. Mate call GCG - Get a heavy duty actuator The actuator you have now simply will not be upto the task, and the EBC's sometimes just can't hold it. We all know that, seen it plenty of times now across the forum where people upgrade the actuator and the problem goes away almost immediately. There is no reason that I've seen yet to suggest a GCG hi-flow cant hold 18psi beyond 4000rpm. Yes yours is the smaller version compared to the OP6 (and its only about a 25rwkw difference in most cases), but it should be holding a long longer and as i said earlier... GCG are silly for not forcing people to BUY HDuty acutuators are part of the hi-flowing as plenty of people have had this issue and with hiflows in general. The stock actuators dont like holding 18-20psi, and then add to the fact they are 10-15 years old. No EBC is going to account for a failing actuator, and look @ 99% of the thread here about boost control/hiflows, I've yet to see anyone get all funky with actuator setups over and above a normal heavy duty one
  20. Please use the search function - this topic has been covered plenty of times. RB30 and RB20 heads flow around the same anyway.
  21. He is talking about if you have already lost it - not if you have it, and have a fine/defect etc that you are contesting.
  22. Seen a few GCG items hold 18-20psi and well for 260-270rwkw or so
  23. define "quiet" in terms of dB. What one man calls quiet, another calls ridiculously loud. 89/90dB is the legal limit, most people can at least reference off that
  24. Put a middle muffler in, it would then be under 90dB provided the rear muffler is decent enough. That's legal in all states far as i know. And yes, dropping to a 2.5" could potentially cause performance loss. How much - impossible to say. Would depend on the rest of the cars mods etc
