  1. I cannot see how it's the turbos fault at all here if there is too much heat and detonation. That shit isn't random. Look @ Richo for instance. He is running a hypergear hi-flow with around the same power as you are making. Does lap after lap without an issue and the turbos would be reasonably close in size.
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/407273-sau-merch-rnd-2/ Have a read... Some of you guys have some great shots that will be heading down the path SAU wants to take. Could be a great opportunity to get some of it onto SAU Merch and be worn/sent all over the world
  3. Yeah the RB26 shirt is definately well down the lines of what we are looking for. A nice fashion style print that you'd actually wear out in public in the street and not just to a car/SAU event type thing.
  4. Roster is still up in the air. Won't know till next week
  5. If you two don't knock off the whoring in threads outside of the wasteland - you are both going to see some resulting action being taken that you probably won't like. Enough is enough guys. People have had enough of it.
  6. Read the other threads below this one on launching GTR's would be a good start...
  7. Pros: They are stronger Cons: They cost more to buy They cost more to rebuild They are generally heavier to use (so for a car daily driven, you'll need a big left leg) So unless you are after 450rwkw+++ you really don't need to go bigger than a twin, they are tried and proven whilst still maintaining reasonable driveability... Especially so if you get a Nismo Coppermix, they are excellent and feel like a single plate. If you get the Comp grade one it'll hold 450rwkw no drama as well.
  8. Have you tried the seach? There is more than enough info on here to cover your everlasting questions. Have a read, and get some knowledge going The stock bottom end is ok for NO MORE than 450hp (motor, no wheels). Any more, for extended periods, doesn't seem to last. Either way, it's a 7-10k expedition depending on how much you want to spend.
  9. Just because you can't fix your 40rwkw hole Plus for a car that gets street/daily driven running that type of boost is just asking for problems IMO. So much stress and pressure on the entire system... Not to mention if you do track days as the heat would also be a factor to consider. Hence all these Time Attack cars you see running 30psi+ are generally one-lap wonders before the heat sets in. You won't see them doing 5-10 hot laps
  10. Yeh as i thought, the poor mans antilag haha, similar to what a Bee-R can do for a couple hundred bucks. Certainly wouldn't want to be doing it too often by any means of the word. Looks like it's sitting on 5000rpm from the video.
  11. The overlay graphs from the other day seem to suggest there is not as much in it as everyone is saying, at least @ 20psi - and given you will run more with both... Big call you are making here. Lucky you still live with ya mum.
  12. Sounds like poor man's anti-lag. I wonder if they are doing it by just fuel dumping as it sits on the limiter, which won't be doing any favours for longevity
  13. If some of you usual suspects can't keep from trashing workshops and mixing it "into" a nice post - regardless of what your story is - you are going to start getting warnings. Forum rules are explicitly clear about the issue, and for good reason. Thanks.
  14. Really is no point going a 6boost manifold and only put on a 2860 in all honesty, same with the cams. You'd be better off saving the money on both and putting towards a RB25 conversion.
  15. Ill check my work roster tomorrow - If I'm not working, count me in 100%
  16. Well after 4-5 days back at it - All i can say is I'm really shit compared to previous... And people are a LOT better It's a double ended dildo to the face is what it is
  17. Talking last round Martina - Neon Leon knows what I'm on about lol
  18. lol no.
  19. Without knowing (as I'm not currently on committee, but have for many years prior) - the system has never failed to accept an application. Everyone that submits, is received as it's basic and robust - If the money is gone from your account there is a fair bet it's in the SAU-Vic one and it gets reconciled regularly hehe On the form it does state quite clearly to please allow 14 business days for processing, which counting weekends, can be 3 "weeks" if you did it on a Fri/W.E type thing given it wont be seen till the next Mon/Tue No doubt Dan will see this in a day or two. He usually processes stuff on Mon/Tue
  20. And if people do go off track, simply report it and we come in and fix btw - more pics
  21. It's just Garrett adding a new classification far as I'm aware as they do from time to time (although, it's not exactly "new"). Could be more-so that people stocking the turbos were simply not listing them correctly after the ID tag change, given there is only one option for 2860R's for bolt-on GTR http://garrettbyhone...identification/
  22. Be strong he says. It'll be easy he says hahahaha
  23. But it's NOT! They are 2.5k +add delivery +add taxes. You are over 3k before you start.
  24. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
