Well I know how to drive, so it won't be a blown motor! But i do have an issue with WD's. I can't remember more than about 5 consecutive things at any given moment... So I'll keep going with that failboating no doubt. lol you know damn well if i didn't get that WD, I was equal first. Out & out cheaper/race car vs a streeter that's never run the course HOHOHOH MERRRY CHRISTMASSSSS

Caltex E70 And No Intercooler?
R31Nismoid replied to Super Drager's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thier point was the fact your tune does not knock has little to do with the fuel and more about the state of the tune. And basically overall your intercooled results are irrelevant for this thread. So more-to the point, no-one is sure what you are on about! To the OP - VL's were running what, 5psi through a small T3 and were ok and you could get upto around 8-10psi IIRC. This is back in the 80s That said - it's not just about the amount of boost. 14psi through a t04Z or 14psi through a stock GTS-t turbo? Two very different ends of the field and resulting heat. saying "14psi" isn't relevant in it's current context really without knowing the entire setup. Your setup will also be quite sensitive for sustained use as well as heat increases. You'd need to get a few sensors going IMO and monitor it carefully and work your way up. It might be fine now in cooler months, and all of a sudden one warm day, 1hr drive and all of a sudden you've got stones under the bonnet -
lol fark that. There are GTR's to be launched!

They wouldn't sell as well as we envisage they need to The above designs are good and on the right path. It'll just be a case of chucking designs together and then a few will be "BAM Awesome" type thing if they keep going the way of the above examples. I'd suggest perhaps getting in contact with a few photographers perhaps for some great images. There are a few here on SAU. You'd probably need to split the $$$ with them, but hey - if you have a clean sweep that works nicely

LOL yeah something along those lines. Add in a keyboard and mouse somewhere and it's a party

All, We are still looking for more fashion oriented type designs. These items need to be sellable at stalls at events as well as the SAU Online store. it seems the direction we are trying to take people down has not quite been reached at this stage. Some examples of the ones that are getting close to the mark are as follows to give you an idea of what we are thinking. Unfortunately a lot of the designs were not marketable, and that's the key aim of this - to promote and further SAU Just to re-cap: We are looking for the following items only at this stage: 3 x fashion t-shirt designs - Can be front only, or front/rear designs 1 x long sleeve shirt designs (for motorsport boys) - SAU logo or variation on left breast, incorporate the URL and whatever else 1 x hoodie design - Free range here, go as mild or wild as you like 1 x cap design - A good cap design is simple, but effective. Cap will need to have URL on it. Cash that will be given out for designs chosen listed below. You will also get a free merchandise item that your design goes onto t-shirt: $100ea ($300 total) Long sleeve: $100 Hoodie: $100 Cap: $80 For the Motorsport tops, please leave the sleeves spare. The plan is to put SAU Trader logo's down the arms for those that would like to come on-board. They will be supplied to whomever at a later stage once we decide on the designs. So please get to your designs and post them in this thread. Christian will have the ultimate say, however there will be a 'shortlist' of a few designs, which will then feature in a Poll to gauge interest.

Difference isn't as great are some are making out it would seem at least at those boost levels. Put E85 on the -5s and it would be quite close. Interesting comparo indeed

Yeah Racepace mod the Cusco ones for the circuit cars, but then depends if it's "really" needed. I did ok with stock modified ones as it wasn't too aggressive and even then still managed to wear tyres (should've rotated more often). Comes back to what you are doing with the car mate. If you are going to live on the circuit then yeah go Cusco ones and get them modded etc. If not I'd honestly recommend to save the cash and stick with modified stock ones based on my experiences. I'm sure extra geometry would've helped when on the track, but really another 1-2 years of experience would've offered much more benefit hence i stuck with stocker/mod

Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. Long as you keep the training/workload... Why would you? be pointless if you did.
