  1. nissan have been using the hot wire afms since (at least) the r31s a lot better than the restrictive "trapdoor" afms they used in the e15ets and L series of the same era

  11. omg,OP never once stated getting a bigger engine wasNT an option plenty of stroker RB28s and RB30s getting around for better bottom end response, thats why plenty of ppl do it
  12. yep, my r32 was the same with the spoiler removed, refitted spoiler and now i just use it as a handle to open the boot
  13. easy fixed. . get a bigger engine for more low down torque

  20. yep! have to agree with a lot of the above its tensile loads that kill engines more so than compressive loads
  21. chuck it on a dyno that way you can check other things like the AFRs while its there
  22. you cant "dyno tune "a standard rb20det ecu but you can get the ecu NIStuned which will enable you change fuel/ignition maps etc
  23. ^^^ exactly! make sure you are sitting down when you start calculating what a total strip down/ blast/respray/ reassemble is going to cost you
