  1. unlikely . . and you can be sure that nissan australia wont help with info on an import
  2. no the pfc wont run your auto trans, unless the trans is fully manualised as the stock ecu and trans ecu send signals back n forth to each other the pfc CAN however be used with auto toyotas
  3. ^^ and some workshops put a very large markup on the parts that they buy, even tho the parts get delivered free one mechanic i used to use would not put a markup on the parts he ordered , the five mins he was on the phone was easily covered by the extra business his cheap rates generated
  4. yep; there is confusion but it aint coming from me,as i said to disco before the z32 300zx didnt didnt come out with single turbo , it came out with TT or no turbo (VG30DETT or VG30DE) the vg30det came out in the y31 cima and other luxury japanese cars it had twin TBs on the passengers side of the engine and has the single(ceramic) turbo which i wilbe putting on my rb30det
  5. i think youll find the z32 was twin turbo or non turbo not single turbo
  6. not sure what actually done to fix it but it was smoking worse than a ten pack a day cancer candidate , after it was reconned it was all good- no smoke didnt know the VG30DET turbos were BB but knew about the ceramic part of it
  7. yes id imagine it would be hell expensive the unit i used was an exact reproduction of an r31 unit (veale)and seems to work perfectly and imo would have to be better than a tired old secondhand one
  8. yes the 20/25 afms have the same part number yes they are different to gtr afms
  9. agree with the above, factor in reconditioning if buying an unknown condition turbo my vg30det turbo cost around (cant remember exact figure) $700 to recondition
  10. somebody correct me if im wrong but just about any rb starter will do the job? i put a BRAND NEW rb30 starter on my rb25det and it was fine, dont muck around with a second hand starter if you can buy new
  11. therefore the wrong length tailshaft! trust me the diff cant move forward that much only leaves the tailshaft as being the problem
  12. sounds like you have the WRONG length tailshaft in there take it back off and compare it side to side with your other tailshaft
  13. yes that does seem high but need more info does that quote include parts? any kind of assembly etc?
  14. ^^why that would be the rotor housing of course :-)
  15. nissan probably dont do it as a kit ring and askem for a price
  16. (using standard ecu?)turn the screw on the ecu to diagnostics mode and count the red and green led flashes this will tell you whats wrong
  17. they dont have different pins?
  18. mucho thankyou for that :-)
  19. go get it on dvd or blu raywell worth it
  20. didnt you watch "gone in sixty seconds" ?(nicholas cage version) you merely throw said snake out the window!
  21. nah ^^ gotta be the corner seals on the rotor
  22. um yeah that was a great answer but completely unrelated to the questioneasier to take the engine out and fix the leak and check for any other leaking gaskets while you are at it
  23. yes its a shame they are both gone agree that its due to budget cuts as current issue lacks content
