the intake is from Top Secret suprisingly they use hks filter elements on their intake

im not fussed about the drip feed power increases - aftermarket has proved gains can be had for very little effort what id like to see is some improvement on interior plastic materials and trim. slightly stiffer springs on one side to counter my weight???? .....how about some real leather on the dash and door trims

there definitely will be an R36, it has mentioned in a round-about way at the various model launches etc the GTR program is generating alot of interest in the rest of the Nissan lineup and driving a sales boom for the company - just as it was intended also, development on the current platform has pretty much peaked in terms of oem warrantied power levels on regular pump fuel

+1 do a search, this thread has been done before was dd'ing a c63 before my GTR - great engine in a well built sedan.....but it's still a sedan lots of cheap 360s out there now that the history-less imports are flowing in - there's a reason why used modern day ferrari's are cheap

my reply wasn't aimed at you but rather the op, so no need to get on defensive the amount of variables in this thread....state, time of the year, dealer stock levels, current economy, etc makes any "oh you got ripped, i paid x at this dealer" argument invalid

surely actual negotiations with said dealer will give you a better result than some forum heresay

doubtful the rear seat delete means it'd have to be classified as a 2 seater - which means Nissan Aus would need to ADR it again ? the bigger issue though is the Aus rrp - Nissan Aus in the 2011 model are now bringing in the base model Japanese GTR (all black seats and grey roof lining) to keep the currency exchange price rises as low as possible for the end consumer this track pack would be pushing mid 2s easy

that's because the stock GTR is so good out of the box but also because tsukuba is a tight circuit - and imo the R35 has outgrown it the JDM tuners like Amuse, Mines, MCR are in the 58-9s with their square tyre setups, exhaust + ecu mods, huge aero parts hanging off the front and rear im sure you'd see a bigger margin by % on a power circuit like fuji with a big hp built motor (just as HKS have done with benchmarking their continual development car/s)

no where near that slow the 08-09 models were doing 1:01's on stock bridgestones by the best motoring crew
