    i can understand that but what happens when you start putting more power through the driveline isn't 4k a bit excessive for the amount of grip available? and even if it did hook up, that's alot of energy going through the diffs i come from semi-manual boxes where LC's put alot of stress on the drivetrain, so LC is not something i go out and play with perhaps Martin who has rebuilt r35 box's can shed some light on what kind of damage over use of the LC causes, or whether the software is so good it can minimise the damage

    I honestly fail to see the attraction of a 4k clutch dump I cant get full traction at 3k, and this was when I was running Cobb and midpipe only

    as long as you use LC with VDC-R you're fine my 2010 activates LC with VDC-R this was discussed here a while ago at length, and pretty sure the 2009 ADM guys said they can activate LC with VDC-R too

    software only 4000rpm launch is right at the limit of what the stock tyres + stock power can translate to forward momentum if your car is mod'd, id opt for a lower launch rpm

  12. not really id bet the government makes a bigger lick in the lct + gst + sd than the manufacturer does per vehicle imo the reason they vent with vinyl is to keep the overall cost down most manufacturers are doing the same nowadays anyway, its just that vinyl has gotten so good at replicating the look and feel of leather that most people dont even know it - including all those ppl who are rushing out buying A4s, C-class's, X5s etc
  13. *cough* it's actually vinyl the seats, dash, doors, a-pillar trim is all vinyl with a foam backing the only leather part of the seats is the perforated insert that follows the seat edging

    the way i understand it, given the willall maps have been based off running as low grade as e70, putting in sucro wouldn't really make that much of a difference - a bit like choosing bw different brand 98 rons i may be wrong though, and if there's considerable gains to be had from the sucro juice, ill be coming past your place G35 for a top up before hitting the quarter
  18. another thing I've noticed running e85 for dd all last week was how much smoother the car feels on rev up, even gear changes feel smoother also significantly less carbon output in my exhaust tips I was heading out at night doing quite a few tests and logs so I can't comment on typical dd fuel consumption yet

    awesome mate keen to know why my car made more power on the same dyno and same fuel what else do you have on the car? be interesting to know if you dont have an intake for eg, working out how much power it's worth working backwards from our dyno plots in for your 1/4 times. I got rained out last sat and couldnt run
