  1. silver 09 in my apartment carpark....... finally confrontation with a fellow r35 owner, albeit esl'd
  2. zackly American car model years are always one year ahead of the rest of the world... for sales purposes Yes Americans honestly believe it is only them that are so lucky to be able to buy a car built in 2012 in the year 2011
  3. Hi guys Seems im experiencing the same issue as a few of the US guys have been reporting, where im getting a metallic clicking noise when steering is on full lock Its an intermittent sound, pretty much like this http://www.youtube.c...h?v=wDLl4RCKHkw My thoughts are either CV joint, wheel bearing, metal difference bw wheel backing and disc hub or possibly there's some truth in the front brake pad movement theory due to the missing upper pad clip I did some poking around, and as per my vid you can hear the movement in the brake pad on my drivers side when i push the top of the pad toward the caliper - this upper area has no clip. The lower area has the clip and pad is locked in tight. Opposite side has no pad movement on upper or lower and isnt making any noise on full lock Anyone had this issue?
  4. yes, it's the GTR Mizuno-san always wanted to build.....for real this time march is a long way away, it won't be a body redesign so just jump in
  5. 5 year warranty awesome Just hope they dont change their business name in the interim like so many other grey importers
  6. im putting my stockers on for my road trip interstate, so for those that are pm'ing me, i will be keeping them now for these jobs
  7. edit nevermind wrong thread
  8. I don't get the logic behind carbon vinyl wraps Are you supposed to be fooling people into believing your car is carbon like an exotic veyron or zonda
  9. ^LOL put up a build thread phat
  10. see you soon mate!
  11. hahaha but you seem to be struggling with it for those that have changed injectors, is there any change in driveability, lumpy idle, cold start etc ???
  12. agreed, satin seems to be the new thing matte is played out in the darker colours
  13. on your car you need to have diff in R, susp in R and VDC off let me try setting it up for you next time
  14. you need the Cobb with the traction control option I don't believe it's been officially released yet though , the lc4 that is it'll only work on a well prep'd track with the right tyre setup, otherwise a 4k launch is too many revs for anything more than oem power levels
  15. 2010 build ADM - Top Secret Intake - Top Secret Turbo Inlet Pipes (to be installed by Willall end of month) - they defeated me as a diy - 3" catless downpipes ceramic coated by HPC - Cobb catted 90mm midpipe - 90mm titanium exhaust - HKS Fuel pumps + DW 950cc injectors (to be installed by Willall end of month) - Cobb etune by Willall I recently swapped out my stock downpipes and Miltek straight midpipe for catless downpipes and catted midpipe. The extra sound is awesome, the car now has a rasp at high revs and volume similar to a euro exotic which is what i wanted. I'm confident on Willall's dyno ill be able to tune for more power with this setup. However, there are some compromises. The high flow cats take a few minutes after each cold start to warm up - and this means they make some weird resonating sounds that come into the cabin when on a trailing throttle. There is a bit more drone also at around the 2-3rpm range which buzzs around the interior, so i will be chasing this with some more dynamat laid down in the boot and rear bulkhead this weekend. Atm i have dynamated under the rear seats and this, together with normal 21" road tyres, helped alot Once i get Willall to add my injectors and pumps and give me an e85 map, i think ill stop with the perfomance mods as i dont want this car to be in any way compromised in terms of daily driveability - afterall a daily driver is exactly why i bought it and i dont want to add any extra lag with bigger turbos
  16. let's start a thread where everyone lists what they've done to their R35 and get some convo going back n forth with feedback on various mods - it's been awefuly quiet here it's seems as if there's only a handful of members who have thrown caution to the warranty gods and converted their GTR from a restricted by design whirlpool washing machine sounding auto mag test car to an all out ball tearer worthy of mizuno-sans' head shaking criticism so who wants to go first?
  17. watch out......this yankee is now strapped!
  18. hit up that search button

    Sorry If Repost

comparison bw a 458 and GTR isn't as simple as dollar vs acceleration most 458 buyers would prob look past simple raw acceleration figures and see the added value in design, heritage, sound, feel, wank et al what was a let down for me is the lf-a. With it's single clutch manual and mediocre quarter it's almost as if the game has already moved on before it even started

    Sorry If Repost

i saw that this morning the 458 would have reeled it in past the 400m mark needs exhaust and cobb for longer legs cant beat the sound of that lf-a, almost as good as a cgt
  21. chris when you get a chance do you mind quoting me a price on the 2011 vinyl dash top piece that wraps around the mfd part number is 68210KB50A i thought id swap over to the 2011 mfd surround trim but it doesn't fit well dealer price on the dashtop makes this swap uneconomical so ive shelved it
  22. Decided to keep it
  23. if not, refer post #2
  24. I knew I've seen it before I bookmarked both of these for my spring install http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=50385&hl=strut
