  1. wow id never sell an appreciating assett for a depreciating one at the end of the day, it's your call keep in mind the status of the world's economy and where we're headed now with this farce new tax on carbon - read recession imminent id be gauranteeing a roof over my head before getting into hock over a car
  2. LC was discussed at length a while back here cliff notes; - 09 ADM build has LC1, but need to turn VDC-OFF, hence no warranty -10 ADM build has LC2, but can be used with VDC-R and few hundred rpm lower, hence warranty - 11 ADM build has LC3, but can be used with VDC-R with similar rev limit to 09 ADM, hence warranty of course that warranty is all dependant on you leaving the car 100% stock, or lucking it up with a mod friendly dealer when something goes boom if you wish to improve LC even further, cobb have that covered http://cobbtuning.co...oducts/?id=5676 - ENHANCED LAUNCH CONTROL:Updates TCM to Nissan LC2 launch control logic with two user selectable launch control modes! Level 1 sets launch control revs to 3,300rpm (300 more than stock LC2) with more aggressive clutch engagement and throttle curve. Level 2 raises launch control revs to 3,700 rpm with the same clutch and throttle characteristics as Level 1. imo LC is fun the first couple of times as a novelty when you first get the car, but as you begin to modifty the car, i dont find myself using it anymore or necessary to go quick off the line - save your tranny/drivetrain the stress and reduce the need for any repair bills
  3. sending off my downpipes to HPC to get coated today Martin my nagic number is 400.....what's it going to take? will my intake, inlet pipes, downpipes, midpipe, exhaust, dw 950injectors and tune going to cut it?
  4. lol @ cams, it isnt an LS3 from that dyno graph, all you need is a midpipe and canned map quite a few of us have already gone beyond that love the tune'ability of these cars
  5. aren't there larger oil coolers available from tuners that you can use? or is it cost prohibitive

  7. that's great Martin, thanks for posting so once ecu is remapped area under curve is pretty much the same the 2011 has a stronger top end, could that be due to the larger turbo intake piping?
  8. +1 how would that work Martin
  9. painted pics....... zele skirt fitment is ok, they are a little short on the ends, but sit very flush with the guards we couldnt re-use the bump stops - with them mounted you really needed to slam the boot hard to depress them and get the lock to latch. I just need to be careful closing the boot on windy days
  10. thanks guys im really liking the wingless look, ive always wanted to do it since buying the car re exhaust, i took a big gamble buying this sight unseen, but upon opening the box was very impressed with the welds and overall quality the tips are from garage active
  11. yeh that and the 599 GTO is what the designer Yoshi Suzuka had in mind i rekon one of these vids has the his gtr mock up model in it with his home made wind tunnel - cant remember which one now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpMOpyLbjcA
  12. Hi guys Just came back from panel shop to give ok to paint the trunk Pics are dry fit only, the latch still needs to be screwed on to pull it down, but so far very impressed with the fitment and panel gaps Believe im the first in Aus with this trunk......woot woot Trunk makes the car look alot cleaner imo And for those that will cry "aero", i dont track, i just get stuck in traffic.......with the occasional mountain blast
  13. ill be byo'ing injectors and pumps too
  14. One minute he likes the gtr, then he hates it, now he likes it again That guy swaps opinions like the US swap dictators abroad
  15. in my non-engineering degree opinion I think it's mostly to do with the larger turbo inlet pipes this is the only engine side change and imo Nissan will use the diameter of these pipes to drip feed the increase in power each facelift the turbo opening is 2" yet 08-10 pipe diameter is 1.76" the 11 inlets taper to 2" at the turbo now just like most aftermarket pipes I tried installing my Top Secret pipes and just couldn't do it from under or inside the engine bay. I'm hoping Martin will be able to do it
  16. theres 39 on carsales surely it cant be that hard?
  17. Martin im going to fast track my road trip out to you to get those turbo inlet pipes fitted and dyno tuned lol
  18. warranty? or was it mod'd?
  19. ill take it as an example, the last used wheel i bought for my m3 off ebay cost me just under 300 shipped, and that was with a not so good exchange USD rate you let me know what you'd want for it what's the condition of the back plastic trim like, especially where the mechanic jabbed a screw driver in to remove the airbag?
  20. Hi guys Anyone got a used wheel for sale - don't require airbag or switch panel
  21. Thanks guys I gotta post to hpc anyway, so I'll check out that Sydney place
  22. I guess I'll be the first to ask.... how did it happen?
  23. Hi guys Before i look at sending my downpipes to US to have Swain-tech apply this ceramic coating, is there anyone in Aus (pref Melb) who offers a similar service? http://www.swaintech...e.asp?pid=10969
  24. protection against Osama, call of duty, second amendment, the price of a quarter pounder with cheese, cowboys n indians, cops and robbers.... this guy finds they just bring out his sexyback .....when he's not busy battling it out on rockband
