  1. got a bootlid if anyone wants another coffee table idea
  2. went to fill up at the caltex near me on the weekend and e85 was $1.18 per L, so that's exactly 30c cheaper than what i paid for 98RON what city mileage are people getting with e85? ive read the trip comp is useless once you change injectors and you have to work it out yourself otherwise, looking at the HKS 600 kit, they provide larger pumps but not injectors. Compare this to the US tuning norm where they fit larger injectors before changing pumps = im confused
  3. wow so glad we are seeing a display of real engineering intellect here in aus
  4. ....into the 8's
  5. the TSA is awesome finally the Americans have a legitimate program to put back in employment rehabilitated pedophiles +1 that we as Aussies have our own issues to deal with. Afterall we'll soon be paying a carbon tax to Jesus so he can stop the shifting of the pacific plates, and this 2 yrs after the whole global warming myth was publically debunked and when the strength of our dollar is already making it too expensive for international trade
  6. yep very happy with my ADVs the concave and scalloped out spokes for weight reduction are a very unique touch atm though dpe and even volk now are doing the same
  7. i agree, every journo jumps on the interweb hater computer excuse bandwagon comparing it to any other modern day sportscar say for eg the 458 or 997 turbo, even a current m3, - electronic gearbox - all 3 - electronic traction - all 3 - electronic suspension - all 3 - electronic lc - all 3 this isnt williams f1 1993 teh mind does boggles
  8. my bro had a loaner series 3 GTS a few weeks back the ride was terrible and would lean far too heavily on its front outside tyre in corners, the exhaust resonated inside the cabin, build quality and materials was crap, it didn't feel all that powerful compared other fast sedans ive owned (c63 being the latest), and i ran out of fingers counting the amount of fake air/brake ducts all over the plastic clad body....worst was the two bonnet scoops cooling down the plastic engine cover you'd need to be some serious flag waving aussie to spend upwards of 70K+ for these things
  9. byo billy can and funnel on road trips over 300km
  10. well it seems I have a caltex selling e85 7kms out of the cbd so I may take the bio plunge
  11. those traps downunder would require a chute..... and by quite a margin
  12. awesome tuning skills ....this is why im driving 7 hours next month to come see you
  13. Hi guys Looking at my next step after doing turbo back, intake and tune (waiting for my downpipes to come back from being ceramic coated) Spending any time on the US forums, the next step seems to be switching to larger injectors However, i know the americans go very aggressive on their tunes for the dyno glory, and most owners in Aus only changes injectors + pumps for e85 compatibility, but has anyone added injectors yet on a car that they are running pump gas only? Is there any gain to be had, or are tuners here not pushing the stock turbos hard enough on our fuel to need more fueling?
  14. meh it's a moot point for me anyway because i run 21" wheels and r888's arent available ive pretty much already max'd out the grip from my yoki advans in 1st and 2nd with intake/exhaust/tune bolt on's im looking at the michelin super sports next (afaik they are a cut slick like the oem bridgestones), but closest size they offer for the front will throw my speedo out 2.5% so if/when i need the extra grip, looks like ill have dust off my stockers
  15. Guys I have a brand new in box HKS superior finisher on the way This has been on order from HKS for the last 2 months and now finally on it's way In the meantime I decided to replace the rear with top racing's parts It doesn't have the gt600 badge Looking for 550 shipped anywhere in Aus Perfect for those who have a Ti exhaust to display
  16. edit - im sure a set of toyo triple 8s would be even grippier again
  17. the original GTR time was on a speed limited to 180 JDM spec cant make a comparison unfortunately but yep, as most people are saying, the new tyres are noticeably grippier
  18. I went with the mcr harness I had it ready to go before I even picked up the car You connect it inline with the existing harness, no black box, no splicing, too easy G35 the Zele may look brighter in pics because of the tighter packed LEDs on the inner vs outer They both do the same thing, basically send constant power and ground. You could diy if you had a voltmeter and some time to kill
  19. yeh the 09 ADM owners really got short changed imo by missing out on the higher quality screen, nav, etc if this was america, the owners would already have a class action going against nissan for getting robbed like that i was planning the upgrade for those reasons you mention, but in the flesh was dissappointed that the dash, seats and door trims are still vinyl despite the marketing blurb about better materials
  20. have just ordered the Top Racing dry carb rear under piece through RMSMotorparts and will be scheme painting this to leave some subtle part in matt cf to match my matt cf nordring grille just noticed they also have dry carb oem mirrors http://www.speedforsale.com/nissangtrparts/images/TopRacing_R35_Mirrors2.JPG
  21. agreed, great car but i still miss my mod'd 350 - loved that wrap around sitting over rear wheels feeling
  22. what makes the front look worse is that nissan mount the guard lining over the edge of the guard edge, so that itself adds a good 1mm to the gap
  23. i too was suprised with the fitment, afterall these are expensive genuine zele japanese made parts but ive been told they're all the same, and looking at the bowed out sides of the stillen skirts, im glad i went with the zeles
  24. tips are from garage active the exhaust was made by GZY in mainland China and bought it direct from them with no markup i was lucky that they had one in stock otherwise they will only manufacture in bulk numbers, and they do for a some well known tuners/brands afaik they are out of stock now wheels are 21x10.5f and 11.5r
  25. sorry Hazey i gotz those cliff notes wrong either way, dont get too caught up in the warranty of using LC if you have any shred of adrenaline or motoring enthusiasm in you, you wont keep this car stock with that pitiful electronic whine of an oem exhaust and limited by design 'apple iGTR'1 factory power output 1Fungoolie - pure geniusism
