I had 2 fresh sets for the weekend (I had to drive over on 1 set - about 200kms) I scrubbed in the second set doing some laps at the Speed Off The Streets day on the Friday. After doing around 40 laps per set you can still see the little flame logos on both sets of tyres, so tread is not too worn. -

I was running Hankook RS3 265/35R18 on all four corners. I quite like the tyres, they are noisier and go off quicker then an R comp, but for a street legal tyre they have a lot of grip and are very predictable when the do start to lose grip. I have found running them at 33-34psi (hot) in the Skyline is the best for me, and they appear to wear very evenly. I would definitely recommend them. -

Well guys, NSW Time Attack is done and dusted. Pretty happy with how the car performed over the weekend, and managed to score myself a new PB of 1:09.0 I will get some pics up later on but for now, here is the video of my fastest lap -
Looking good mate, keep the updates coming
-
I have sent them an email to see if there is any possibility on rotors if also bought at the same time
-
Ok guys, I have heard back from Alpha Omega and after receiving a fourth person interested (via PM) they have agreed to offer a discount to these buyers. They are currently setting up the discount coupon for these people and once I have been notified of it I will contact the interested parties via PM with the coupon details.
-
Ok guys, I received no further interest over the weekend so have emailed Alpha Omega to see if they are willing to offer any deal to the 3 confirmed interest. Will let you know when I hear back.

Don't drive it so it doesn't break? Just don't let Duncan near it -

So far I'm impressed with the brakes. I just need to get used to the different pedal feel, I suspect the bigger brake master cylinder will stiffen up the pedal feel but I don't want to risk changing it and having problems at NSWTA. -

Thanks mate. Only fuel related mods are injectors and fuel pump with rewire. I have only experienced fuel surge one when the fuel light had already been on for 2 laps at Wakefield, which surprises me to be honest. -
Alpha Omega have offered to extend the group buy until next Tuesday at which time they will review the numbers. So if anyone else is interested, please speak up by 6PM Tuesday 9th.
-
Ok guys we have reached the end date of the group buy. As we only have 3 confirmed interest I dont believe there will be any discounts but I will contact Alpha Omega and see if they are willing to discount anyway. Will keep you posted.
-
Tomorrow is the last day to put your name forward - we need two (2) more people in order to get discounts. If you are interested let me know!
-
320rwkw is still reasonabme power and it look to be pretty responsive (comes on sooner and more boost then my car - and about 80kw more lol) Congrats
-
Just a reminder that the group buy will closed this Thursday at 6PM. Currently the only people confirmed are: - Deka - SABBAi There needs to be at least 5 people in order to get some form of group saving.

Video from yesterdays NSCC Wakefield Park day I was able to crack into the mid 1:09 second mark. I feel the car still had more in it though, I was still just getting used to the brakes. I also think the RS3's that are on it are starting to see their limits so will be taking 2 fresh sets to NSW Time Attack. Overheating issues are completely gone, I was doing full sessions worth of hot lots and the only thing letting me down was the tyres. The video above was my first sub 1:10 for the day, I did a few more cleaner runs (too lazy to search through all my footage) where I began to stop using 2nd gear which seemed to clean my lines up a bit more. No pics at this stage but if I find some I will post a couple up. -

Ah yes, I forgot to say! I contacted Holford about the BMC and they were very quick to send out a new one! Great customer service! However, the BMC did not arrive prior to me moving, so it was delivered to my old address and I have somebody coming to visit this weekend that will be bringing it with them so I haven't been able to fit the new one. I will see how things go this weekend at Wakefield Park and decide whether or not I should fit the new BMC prior to NSW Time Attack. If I feel like things are ok then I don't want to touch the car prior, but if it feels like it is an issue then I will definitely get on it! -

So I have been pretty slack with giving the next update as promised in my last big post. Unfortunately I have just been very caught up with life in a new town, my new job, and being sick. Everything mentioned above has been completed/has arrived, however I only have one photo which is of the Takata harness fitted up in the car with the harness bar. I will get some other pictures up soon showing the V2 splitter and new wheels (I haven't had a chance to trial fit them yet!). Unfortunately the Hardrace LCA's took a few days longer to arrived then hoped so they still haven't been fitted and that also meant that I was unable to make it to Heasman's to have the car aligned and cornerweighted, which sucks, as I was really hoping to get this done before NSW Time Attack. I guess it is something that will be done afterwards now. I am attending a NSCC day at Wakefield Park this Saturday which will be a shake down of the car after having all the work done - cooling, brakes, etc. I am very keen to see how it reacts. Pictures and an new PB time will follow (I hope lol). -
As GTR_JOEY has already mentioned, a rear kit is in development. I believe this will be incorporating the rear Evo calipers with the 370Z 350x20mm rear rotors. At this stage I do not believe there is an ETA on this kit. I will chat to Alpha Omega at the completion of this group buy about the possibility or a future group buy on the rear adaptor kit also. Just confirming at this stage the following people are committed: - DekA - SABBAi luke gtr if you would like any more information please don't hesitate to ask.

Added to the list Matt. I also forgot to mention that the adaptors are are both engineered and made in Australia.

Hi all, I have recently purchased this brake adaptor kit for my R34 GTT, and after learning of my involvement on Skylines Australia, Alpha Omega Racing has offered a discount saving to all SAU members. Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Product: Evo 350mm Brembo Brake Adaptor Kit. The adaptors are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, which is super lightweight and high strength. There is also a 'Stealth Edition' kit available, where the adaptors are anodised black. Purpose: The kit allows you to fit Brembo calipers from an Evo 5-9 (all the same) with Evo X rotors (350mm, much larger than the 320mm used on previous Evo's) to your R32/R33/R34/S13 (5 stud)/S14/S15/Z32/Z33. The reason for not using the Evo X caliper is because they have larger 'legs' which would require the adaptor to be smaller/weaker. The Brembo calipers on the Evo's have a slightly larger pad area than the GTR Brembo's, as well as larger pistons, and can often be bought significantly cheaper too. What's included: - Pair of CNC machined 7075 billet alloy caliper adaptors - High tensile bolts and washers - Installation instructions (with pictures) What you need to get - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo front calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clips/banjo bolts) - Mitsubishi Evo X front rotors (350x32mm) - Custom brake lines Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above, but you are also able to purchase the parts elsewhere if you wish. I personally sourced the parts elsewhere as I decided to go for 2 piece Attkd rotors and had a local business make my brake lines as I use them regularly for other custom lines. Some people may find it more convenient to purchase all parts for the conversion from Alpha Omega Racing and the listed prices are as follows; - Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo front calipers (used) - $850 - RDA Evo X 350x32mm slotted rotors - $290 - Goodridge custom brake lines - $240 Alpha Omega Racing can also offer services to rebuild your used calipers, powder coat them, or even install the whole kit. Wheel clearance: Minimum of 17" race style wheels with good clearance are required. Brake Master Cylinder: You are able to retain your factory brake master cylinder, however it is recommended to upgrade to a brake master cylinder with a piston size of 17/16" (such as a BM57). Price: The RRP for the adaptor kit is $370 plus postage, or $385 for the 'Stealth Edition' adaptor kit plus postage. The group buy discount that is being offered is; - <5 people = no discount - 5-11 people = Normal kit for $340ea, or 'Stealth Edition' kit for $355ea, (save $30) plus postage - 12-19 people = Normal kit for $310ea, or 'Stealth Edition' kit for $325ea, (save $60) plus postage - 20+ people = As above, with free postage - including tracking number/signature on delivery/insurance (total saving of approximately $90-110) Group Buy Condition: The group buy will run for a two (2) week period, finishing at close of business on 4th June 2015. Anybody interested in purchasing the kit as part of the group buy should notify my by the cut off date and I will add them to the 'buyer list'. At the conclusion of the group buy period I will tally the number of buyers and contact Alpha Omega with the total numbers. A discount coupon will be provided to each buyer allowing them to get the appropriate discount. Prior to the cut off date all communication will be with me either via this thread or via PM. At the conclusion of the group buy, once you have been provided with the discount code, all communication will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega. All shipping and payment details will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega only. Any warranty on the product(s) will be provided by Alpha Omega.
