Hi guys, Chasing a second set of R34 GTR rims for myself as I find them to be just about the right size for track use on my car. Paint condition does not have to be the best but wheels must be straight, no buckles, etc. Tyres don't particularly interest me unless they are 255 or 265 Hankook RS3's. Cheers

Ideally wanting a Bride fixed back (Zieg III or Zeta III) that I can use for a drivers seat in my car for race meets. Will be needing rails as well to suit my R34 GTT but if you just have a seat let me know what you've got, I'm open to offers. Cheers.

I was also thinking it appeared a little laggier then i would have expected, nice top end though. When it comes on it comes on hard. -
yep that's the one I was thinking of! LOL Duncan... I'll go searching for cones just to hit them for you! Haha. I've been to the bathurst hill climbs a few times now Neil, i like pushing my limits with the walls See you there!

Timmy's R34 Gtt

No real updates as such, fitted the Nismo gearbox mount a couple of weeks ago but have barely driven the car to say if there is any noticeable difference. Will be attending the NSW Hill Climb Championship Rounds 2 and 3 this weekend in Bathurst (along with a mate in his R33 - Yeedogga on the forum here) so I'm pretty keen for that. We had been semi joking about making up front splitters for our cars for a little while and have decided to do it this week before Bathurst if we can accomplish it, so will post pics on how that goes. Videos/pics to come of Bathurst as well. -
Nice build thread. What the overall plan for the car? General circuit events? Supersprints?
-
Just to make sure I'm thinking of the right car Neil, you have the white "track spec" R33 GTST yea? (Apologies, I've been looking at so many builds lately I've started mixing up names and cars lol). I don't know anyone else running full slicks on a Skyline, I definitely don't think you would get a whole hill climb season out of 1 set, but a half season would be doable I think. I'm currently running RS3's up front and an old pair of R888's on my R34 which have been through a couple of events at Bathurst and are barely showing wear from the events, but obviously they are a completely different tyre lol. Off topic, I'll be at Bathurst next week as well as with a mate from the forums who has a R33 (Yeedogga), so come say hi at some point, we are competing both days

Thats definitely sounding better. What is happening when they try more boost? Have you changed anything?

Looks great to start with, then just nothing.... definitely seems like a restriction of sorts. Keep us posted.

Seat looks great. Cool build thread so far.

Yay screamer lol. Sorry to hear about the new problems with the turbo, hopefully you get it all sorted soon. -
Curious, are the other turbos you know of having the same issue the exact same model? Or varying models?

That exhaust looks mint (as well as all the other fabrication), but I gotta ask, why no screamer? Haha. I'm sure it wouldn't be too loud lol. Car looks great, going to be an epic street car, can't wait to hear it. What happened to the gold cam covers? -
Definitely a dick move... maybe you need bigger brakes!!
-
Great build thread, car has come a long way. What's the plans in terms of future events? Have you fitted the dry sump setup yet? And the new rear brakes, not sure if I missed that or not.
