Rb26 Fullboost By 5000 Rpm (34 N1 Turbos)
djvoodoo replied to mr_rbman's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I have similar mods to you except on an unopened motor, and on an R34 Did a test just now actually. On my HKS EVC6 at 3900 rpm (or around 96km/h) I get 13.9 psi of boost in 4th Gear. It's an average mild day in Syd - roughly 22 deg and its not crazy humid. I adjusted the "offset" map feature in all my RPM ranges on my controller and push a tonne more offset than the default 100% as per HKS. Tune has a massive influence. My last tune with a different tuner was absolutely shite and was a laggy pos with -7's. -
Sometimes I wish there was a dislike button on SAU................

Gtr R34 Bouncing Losing Traction On Boost
djvoodoo replied to v-specjay's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
If boost (positive pressure) Is only coming in at 4.5K rpm on standard turbos you have issues... Are you sure this is the case as per your post??? **edit** i think i misread due to punctuation... You are on boost, then at 4.5K rpm you have traction issues ? -
Tomei Type R Poncams
djvoodoo replied to Chris32R's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Dammit. Would have taken these if they fit the R34... What is the difference? Is it that the CAS configuration is different ?? -
Considering the majority of Skyline owners on this forum are from Aus/NZ.... I know zero tuners here that have ever tuned this ECU. Might be a good ECU... But if no-one wants to touch it, what's the point? When you go to a JEM or a CRD etc, what will they say when you have a Maxx tuning ECU?

Sau Nsw November Monthly Meet - Beat The Heat Breakfast Cruise

Sorry I couldn't stay long this morning gents, but good saying hello nevertheless -
18 x10.5 with +Fifteen offset all round. Perfect for R33/34 GTR. Pretty good condition, has bits of gutter rash/chips here and there on the outer lip due to slightly strecthed tyres, which are: Kumho Ecsta's in 265 x35 x18. At least 6 months worth of tread on them. No camber wear. I also replaced the standard Enkei tyre valves with a set of RAYS, which are more sturdy and less prone to air leakages.. Pick up Southern Sydney. $1550. slightly negotiable. PM me for my contact details. Cheers

Now sitting on 18x10.5 Panasport G7's. I was concerned that they weren't going to suit, but they look much more meaner than my Enkei Rpf1's (which will be up for sale soon)

What Is The Better Car? Evo 7 Or R32 Gtr? (poll)
djvoodoo replied to PranK's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Previous to my R, i owned an Evo 7. Bloody 23 pounds of boost and all i managed was 200awkw. The Recaros are pretty average in them TBH, and weren't that comfortable. The side bolsters are not 1 piece, so the stitching wears real easy. Understeerd alot more than the heavier R, and was boring after 1 year of ownership. 45?? L tank and I got 350km at most. -
Hi SAU'ers. So not to give away my car security.... But i'm using the Mongoose VT404. I recently got a letter from Telstra (my mobile provider) who advised the service would no longer work as of 1st December due to 2G being cut off from the grid.... Telstra were able to determine that my service is using the 2G network on this device (m2m - machine to machine). Anyone on SAU using this tracker and does anyone know if the VT404 is in fact, a 2G device only??? Mongoose specifies the Mhz band, but not whether it covers the 850Mhz 3G spectrum. I sent an email to Mongoose today, hope I get a response from them as I dare say a few angry customers might start calling them if this is the case.

Does Anyone Remember This R34?
djvoodoo replied to No Crust Racing's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Why? You just want history or is there a problem? -
So why are threads about certain 'car dealerships' (with alot of negative comments) allowed and are still open today, but 'beware of workshop x" not allowed? Isn't it the same thing??
