  1. Thread revival & update. So i moved on from the Work D9R and have gone with Work Meister S1 3p in 19 x10.5 +12. Ended up going with a Kuhmo ECSTA PS91 tyre - 285 30 19. According to "will they fit" website, this makes the rolling diameter/circ exactly the same as the stock 245 40 18 wheels on an R34. So, how's the fit? Well, it's certainly the widest max tyre you can go without installing Camber arms etc. Tyres poke ever so slightly, and front right does rub on full lock, but i'll fix that by removing one of the bolts that hold the BOV adaptor. That seems to be my issue. Raised the front coilovers by 10mm for more clearance as my Vspec lip has seen better days. Coilovers are Tein Flex, and set 5 odd clicks from full soft. Very compliant on the road. Rears are fine, but cutting it close. Rolled rear guards or more camber could help, but i wasn't getting any rub (going over speed humps/ acceleration squat/ turn in/ cornering) all seemed fine. 285 30 19 are better than a 275 35 19, but very little room to play.

  4. Can vouch for Plazmaman 76mm cooler. I gained 15k at all 4 wheels after swapping my standard 34R cooler to a Plazmaman (Same dyno, same tuner, same weather conditions, etc) IAT went down drastically (-9's on 22.5psi), and it actually feeds air through the radiator more efficiently too. Temps have been perfect all summer!

  8. You still need to be clearer in your explanation buddy. Is misfire at idle, at a point in the rpm scale or on boost? Sitting for 5 years, have you checked coilpacks? Is your fuel pump also very old?

After having a good run on Putty rd, i felt a little laggy in the arvo, thought it was just the heat, but checked and found my Twin Turbo rubber pipe to the intercooler is split all the way through. Looking for a new rubber pipe if anyone has 1. Willing to purchase from all over oz if you can post, otherwise i'll pick up if you are in Sydney
  11. -7’s were perfectly fine. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the car back. There are plenty of dyno read outs in the 26 thread and a lot of the 7’s get 20 psi closer to 4400rpm which is about what I was getting. 9’s were on 20 psi a good 500 rpm sooner . -7s nosed over to 19psi by 7500 rpm. 9’s stay 21-22 psi all the way to 8000rpm Same motor, exhaust, ecu etc
  12. Speaking from actual experience. Changing from R34 N1's (-7) to GTSS (-9) there was a re-markedly big improvement in response. The -9's were on sooner, harder and stayed on the boil for alot longer

  14. Don't think they do. I asked once upon a time and as the spokes are crazy concave they won't clear, even with the very low offset

  16. If you're running 10-40/50 synth oil, perfect operating temp is around 90 deg as far as i'm aware. I'm running a Tridon 71 deg thermo i think. Sits on 80-83 deg in normal traffic and cruising. You can tune around the lower temp using fuel/temp corrections, but 70-75 seems a bit too cold for these engines????
  17. As per Wastelands "how to sell a car" thread, OP should include HD res pics including detailed engine bay snaps etc. For 90K, it's not cheap.. I'm sure you have it on Carsales etc, and can send pics, but put some effort into your for sale thread. You're posting on SAU for a reason. You want serious buyers, well make the effort and you will get serious interest. In all honesty, good luck with the sale. Aus delivered 32's are scmicko :-)
