  2. How longs shipping take with kando? I ordered my T67 2 weeks ago and still nothing, 3 days after I bought it I asked him if it was sent and he said hes still making it? Why list something on ebay if its not ready to be shipped?
  3. I cant see anyway around a rebuild, you could try and cheat and take the rocker covers off and close up the gap on the baffles (not sure if you can on CA engines, I used to do this on Toyota's when turboing a NA engine) this would limit the blow of oil blow but not the gas. The lower power figures would suggest worn rings but without seeing the car or knowing the mods its just a guess.
  4. Yeah I emailed them with a few questions also Roy Ive been waiting for there account and bsb number for a few days ive already spoken too kyle on the phone and thanks for the link EDIT: Thank you Daniel, ile email him right now
  5. http://mxperformance...8e7edd2313797e9 Has anyone seen or used these before? there cheaper then 6boost and seem like just as good craftsmanship, im over waiting for 6boost to return my emails lol... They do seem abit dodgy though they dont have an address.
  6. There's a lot of area's that need some TLC, could see a few hour's of die grinding in that haha. Also notice the oil on the exhaust wheel?
  7. http://www.ebay.com....#ht_2309wt_1165 cant go wrong mate!
  8. Maybe if it was the stock turbo, though you'd only see a 1-2kw gain from 14-18psi haha
  9. This is why at the start I asked what intake and exhaust you have, the rubber intake hose will most likely be sucking shut...why not answer the question next time instead of saying you know its nothing to do with your turbo setup even though you have no idea about what happens when you leave a soft rubber intake hose on and what's the point in posting if you have already made you're mind up on what you're going to do?
  10. The turbo itself wont need replacing, what size exhaust do you have? what size intake pipe do you have?
  11. This is what happens when a turbo surges...things change from dyno to road for example a 760KW 1UZFE with twin GT3576's that we tuned didnt surge on the dyno yet at powercruise and on the strip it surges badly, though its running 38psi...
  12. Turbo charger surging may be defined as a high pitch vibration of audible level coming from the blower end or compressor end of the turbocharger. Whenever the breakdown of gas flow takes place, a reversal of scavenge air takes place through diffuser and impeller blades into the blower side which causes surging. Surging is to be avoided as it interferes with the combustion in the main engine and may cause damage to the thrust bearings. Therefore, the turbochargers are needed to be matched properly with the engine air consumption rate and pressure across the operating range of the engine and they should not fall in the surge limits. TLDR. The turbo is producing more air then the engine/intake can take. Also caused by a restrictive exhaust.
  13. It's nothing to do with your BOV, sounds like your turbo's surging. Try lowering the boost and see what happens, I assume its all stock pipe work to the plenum?
  14. Yep, I blame texting for my poor grammar, it auto spells so I dont have to think , but yes back on subject I was wrong about the billet wheels being heavier but I was right about a slower spool. Turbo choice would be a T67 or Twin Scroll GT3586 on E85
  15. Could it be your R/C gasket leaking onto the exhaust manifold causing the smoke? Maybe the turbo oil feed lines was weeping?
  16. They're spelling is going to improve because their going to back to school on Wednesday nights and will get some lessons than come back and post on the forum, provided the weather is ok. You go to yeah?
  17. Nice! have to be happy with a 27kw gain, cant wait to get on the E85!
  18. Yep, most of my cars run Microtech's, never had a problem.
  19. I wasnt debating anything all, it was more "dont get a billet trubo from kando" all the forum hero's decided to attack cuzz there gangsta yo.
  20. Microtech LT12s has an AUX output, you need to set up a relay thats triggered from the output, the AUX can be set with RPM on and off. Should see a decent midrange gain from the VCT, it will have to be retuned.
  21. I do understand actually, I guess ile have to copy and paste info next time hey
  22. Yeah yeah and you cant drive for shit. also I didnt say all billet wheels are heavier then the std and also they do spool slower in most cases.
  23. Dont install it man, just dont flog it for 10mins before you turn it off, there the biggest wank factor out and it makes your car ALOT easier to steal.
