  1. Hahaha careful what you have in your clipboard when posting between different forums.
  2. Not 100% sure as I didn't buy this one new but I know people that have used the same clutch with around 450 RWKW. How much power do you need to hold?
  3. I received this clutch with a motor that I bought and since I already have a good clutch I have no need for it. It has only approx. 2000 Kms of use behind 260 rwkw and includes a customised flywheel that has been lightened and balanced with the pressure plate. Description from NPC's website: With an increase in clamp pressure as high as 110% above standard applications, NPC heavy duty button clutch kits are made to handle very hard road use, circuit, rally, drag or drifting. Depending on the application 3, 4, 5 or 6 buttons may be fitted to the clutch plate. In most applications ceramic or carbotic friction material is used offering outstanding performance with positive engagement. What's included: Heavy duty sprung button driven plate NPC clutch cover and heavy duty pressure plate (push type) Lightened and balanced flywheel (suit R33 GTST RB25DET, may be suitable for other RBs too) Pressure plate bolts (of course) Flywheel bolts (used but not very old) What's NOT included: Throw out bearing (contact NPC to see if standard ones are compatible or to buy one that is suitable) Location: McDowall (North Side of Brisbane) Pickup only. Price: $450 ono
  4. I think you'll find the one that is hardest to see (on the left) is a filter not another pump. You can tell because it doesn't fit the bracket properly.
  5. I'm a big fan of Maxxis tyres and they are more than reasonably priced. I have a pair of terrible tyres on the back of my GTST at the moment that came with the wheels I bought, they do the same thing in the wet as you describe. After a good research session the other day I settled on getting a couple of Maxxis MA-511 to replace them. They seem to be a newer version of the Maxxis MA-V1 which I have had a set on the front for years and can't say enough good things about. A good tyre review and opinion site to check out and see how a potential purchase is going to stack up is http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/
  6. As long as it's in March or later I'll be keen.
  7. Are there any photos of the 100mm cooler that Hypergear sells, installed on a Skyline specifically? It was mentioned a page or two back. Cutting holes would be required I imagine.
  8. It just doesn't look right. I'm a big fan of BW and love the EFR turbos to bits. But that turbine housing scroll just doesn't suitable. I've been thinking about an EFR as an option on a stock manifold but the more I think about it the more it seems like a less than optimal solution to shoehorn one onto a stock manifold. Much better to do it properly with an aftermarket manifold and then if I'm going to do that I might as well go a better matched external gate setup using an AirWerks 8070 or similar.
  9. That's an eye opening comparison right there. Taking one look at those photos rule out the 7163. It's far too small for an RB I think.
  10. Buy them from USA resellers. It sounds ridiculous but a friend of mine saved about $300 and got a built in 4 bar map sensor upgrade included. The dollar was a bit better then so you might not save as much now, still worth it though.
  11. Seems there are quite a few spots left. Put me down as a driver please, I pay cash.
  12. I'm selling the R34 GCG high flow turbo that I recently took off my R33 GTST. It had an OP6 turbine housing on it but it developed a crack on the waste-gate seat. It was making a solid 260 RWKW at 19 PSI with supporting mods before the housing cracked. I have spoken to GCG and they will machine any R33 or R34 turbine housing to put on it for $165. I did get another turbo to have the housing machined and put it on this turbo but I found that it was already cracked. So screw it I'm selling it as is without a rear housing. So the lucky buyer just needs to add their choice of rear housing and give a $165 to GCG to get a great high flow for your Skyline. Right so the rest of the turbo is in fine condition, it's a Garrett ball bearing core, probably got about 20,000 to 30,000 klms under its belt, no shaft play, making great power before the rear housing failed. Looking for $500 FIRM plus post or pickup for free on the north side of Brisbane. PM to arrange an inspection first of course, if you're local that is. Photos: Comes with the Garrett 7 PSI waste-gate actuator pictured in these photos. http://qubitonline.com/highflow/1.jpg http://qubitonline.com/highflow/2.jpg http://qubitonline.com/highflow/3.jpg http://qubitonline.com/highflow/4.jpg
  13. I have a Nismo Super Coppermix Competition Twin Plate in my 270 rwkw R33 GTST and I love it to bits. Best clutch I have ever bought, haven't missed a gear shift on circuit or street no matter how crazy I get with gear changes since I put it in. The best part is how easy it is to drive when just driving around normally. It is a little heavier on the leg but you only notice that if you hold the clutch pedal down for a while. I highly recommend an upgraded pivot ball, braided line and good fluid to go with it though, that's what I did and it all makes a fantastic combo.
  14. Switch assembly needs to be drivers door. Motor can be from either the passenger or drivers side. I'm not willing to remove anything. Must be individual parts already. If the surround is available with the switch that would be good. I would prefer to try the switch before buying so local picked is preferred. Brisbane or surrounding would be best but will pay post if located further away. Cheers
  15. FYI I've got a +1 now for the cruise today.
  16. Sounds like a great drive, will bring mucho rainbow juice.
  17. The extra power of the Falcon will hand it the win for sure. Also are there going to be any corners in this race? Because if there are the Falcon will still pwn the GTST, You would be surprised what an extra 10+ years of suspension development has done to newer cars.
  18. I had some nasty noises coming from the lower ball joints on the car and only really noticed how bad they actually were once I was moving it about in the car park at the planetarium. Seems they gave up the ghost at Norwell when I noticed the noise first but of course only got worse since. I decided it was probably not the best idea to drive it to Toowoomba after all. Street Sprints at QR tomorrow are now out also. I'll keep an eye out for the Happy Laps at the end of the month, it'll be fixed by then and I'll come to that.
  19. I took a look at the CBs at Repco and while they are a two pack for $30 they aren't that flash. Apparently they don't remember the last channel they were on once switched off and have some other annoyances too. As an alternative I found Jaycar has a single one (not a two pack) for $24.95 that is much better. So if you don't really need two of them I would save a couple of bucks and get the slightly better Jaycar one. Also it rained all night where I am at Everton Park, I wonder if that will drop the numbers of attendees. It's not raining now but it is still pretty grey all over.
  20. I'm in most likely, might have to fast track the installation of cruise control and get that done this week before the cruise.
