  1. old school so you can remap ignition timing with a pen spring and all those other old tricks
  2. Im Captain slow, but i want to be fast. A professional driver might be good........... to teach me how to drive! PS3 aint no race school. I wonder if rb20 injectors will go in it?
  3. Yes i will be Supreme Leader! Behold my army of invisible robots! ............... Um hang on..........Behold!...........sht, are there batteries in this remote? Oh damn, not again..... always loosing the bloody things.... thats the problem with invisible robots.
  4. When im dictator everyone will start on a bike, if you survive 2 years you have earned the right to drive.
  5. Yes, i was worried the plus size would be too loose for my skinny ass.
  6. 6 foot 3 Bolted the side mounts on the floor just behind the crossbar thats near the front of the seat. reo plates under the floor. I cant seem to find the cams regs where it tells you how big the reinforcing plates have to be and the grade and size of bolts. I guess you could call them, they are easy to get hold of, and very helpful. anyway heres a pic of mine:
  7. Storage, at least theres a bit of choice these days, Cant build a shed where you are. Was thinking the Bond roll bar thats FIA approved and bolt in might go well in the 32. I can take it out for road use. 1/2 cage is probly the way to go. Whaddayareckon? $1015.00 six point roll cage with diagonal.... $670.00 1/2 cage with diagonal thanks 02 45879672 -----Original Message----- To: [email protected] Subject: R32 Skyline Hi, im wondering if you make the removable roll bar/cage for R32 Skyline. If so, what are the options and cost. thanks, Mike.
  8. I tried iridium and platinum plugs in the KTM and found maybe 10% longer life from those. At 5 times the cost, its not worth it. BUT thats a two stroke, and would be different in a car. I still think its a good example of how much better they are. Which reminds me.. If you like to hoon, get a dirtbike with rego. You can flog it all day legally sideways in the Brindies.
  9. Ive been through this with my 32. Im very tall and skinny too. I wasted money on mounts that were too high, my helmet touched the roof. Now i have a Sparco pro 2000 on the floor. The holes for the shoulder straps are a bit low for me. but they work so i use it anyway. Try and find one in a shop so you can sit in it and see if it fits.
  10. Yesterday i spotted a guy dropping his bike at the lights. On the left with the bars turned left, i wonder if he has a clutch lever. Also some fools rc aircraft over the new ASIO building at Russel. It looked like it had wingtip diehedrals and a dark cockpit (camera?), so probably a fpv foamie of somekind. Thats just asking for trouble.
  11. Hmmm... that would be nice. Unfortunately my paint is....... um, it would be like polishing a turd. So its time to change that. This will help make painting easier: All made from junk behind the shed. Just need a double sink connector from Bunnings and its hooked up. Its not hoarding if you eventually use it.
  12. i use it on the soft spray However.... I would like it to be strong enough to just strip all my shtty paint away. the big diesel washer at your work will do that....... Found a solution to the washer problem, need to make a small fitting with a very fat thread on one end.
  13. Cheap ass brake bleeding kit arrived today, also found out my pressure washer wont fit any attatchments. The bastards changed the fittings and dont have adaptors. Bosch used to be German, now its Chinese.
  14. Tyre pressure makes a big difference. Theres a big air compressor at the track, at the end of the sheds. Im getting a good gauge, had to wait, hopefully they have stock now. Also i have that temp gun, to see what temps were getting on the tyres.
  15. Me too. Teenagers not kids, im still a kid. $12 garage floor seal today..... its not real permanent, but will keep the dust down for the next few months. Should be enough time for a paintjob. My floor makes a lot of dust, as i made the mix of cement a bit wrong on a couple of sections. So a $12 bottle of pva glue, mixed with equal parts water, (8l gave 2 coats) and a $1 rolling sleeve. First i swept, blasted it with a leaf blower about 5 times and finally a wash with a pressure washer to get the rest of the dust off, and make the concrete damp. Pva glue is the same as Bondcrete, so i figured it should go well on concrete. A small test 6 months ago confirms it.
  16. Hers some more lego....... Ok, its hard to get a good photo in there. This is about half of her collection, 15 years worth. One day we will set up a city and do some photos and vids from one of the trains.
  17. Quiet morning, ill get some more pics of the collection. The top one is a warehouse and shipping yard i made to go with all the trains and trucks....
  18. But Bob Jane in Belconnen can do a very quality repair. And they have a very good reputation, i trust them.
  19. Lego.. Trying to turn to a new page as the last one was filled with random marketing crap. Are we there yet? Yay!
  20. Another post or two and well be in the clear, what is this marketing sht anyway? Its not relevant, i wonder why they bother......... My nerf....... I was inventing a new one.......... then Nerf made it before i finished, easy way to kill an inventon. do it first.
  21. Ill fill the rest of the page............. Btr 80 as i was welding up my bash bars i thought, too much weight and i can always add wheels
  22. A button clutch..... well there you go. i had one and hated it.
  23. Ill come over too. And ill bring that strutbrace. So whats the plan? Meet at charnie or cruise to charnie together? Time?
