  5. glws i have the same kit, on '03 6mt V35, 234kw @ wheels at just under 7psi max, HKS advertise it will comfortably increase power by 30% and torque by 40% over stock. good kit, excellent quality and has been very reliable.
  6. thanks! funny i looked through amazon.jp, ebay, googled and no luck. wasn't familiar with importmonster (till now!)
  7. cool build, great to see some nicely built 25GTt's. definitely invest in some good tyres, coilovers and arms/bushes,will make a bigger difference to laptimes than a bit more power (though obviously you want to sort the restriction out first..) ive got cusco arms, great build quality and got a perfect alignment with them, car feels great on the track.http://www.cusco.co.jp/en/catalog/pdf_catalogue_suspension_parts.html nagisa auto also do a bunch of arms for R34 25GTt http://www.nagisa-auto.com/products.html i'd order throught jessestreeter, should be able to get the stuff for a reasonable price for made-in-japan quality. my 2c.
  8. mods, might be time to update the mallala times with all the data from SAUnats?
  9. hi guys ive been keeping an eye out for a sales brochure for the V35 Skyline 350GT coupe, but cant seem to track one down anywhere, be it on ebay, amazon.jp or as a pdf anywhere. i can find older skyline brochures fairly easily but no v-series ones. anyone able to point me in the right direction?
  10. i have Zeal function coilovers in my V35, very happy with them as a compromise between handling and comfort. the car is used for trackdays but also daily driven. they are a good mid-level coilover providing great performance and quality (made in japan) for reasonable price. they are also available for your application (V36s) with various spring rates and valving. 'what coilovers' is a very broad question without knowing what requirements you have..do you want progressive or fixed rate springs? steel or aluminium construction? remote reservoir? are you using the car for motorsport?street or r-compound tyres?what budget?
  11. wasnt yours like the only V-series at the show? haha winner by default.nice. a trophy for me? i was runner-up in modified RWD, maybe its for that? out of 11 or 12 in that class i think..not too bad after a 7 year absence and first time on track in the Skyline.
  12. welcome to another sa v35 owner like andrew said, jesse streeter is tops! but you need to know your stuff eg part numbers etc ps sorry i missed the SAUnats carshow, i was meant to enter but had/have terrible sunburn from the trackday on friday.
  13. @krishy, nah mate i have a work christmas dinner on that night.
  14. i've entered trackday and car show. can't wait! hope the fuzz aren't all over it, that would really put a damper on things..
  15. +1 for SA Motorsport Tyres on Magill Rd. very professional, know their stuff regarding alignment settings, and do a lot of motorsports setups. they went to the effort of spending time aligning very exactly; the most accurate alignment ive ever had done, perfect to the hundredth of degree/mm (!) (coilovers, camber arms and toe arms). reasonably priced, friendly and provide good advice.
  16. hi mate i was at WTAC this year, awesome event! i was watching on turn 18 with a group of mates and saw the tankslapper you mentioned haha. very brave/skillfull to keep it under control! im a big R31 fan so was great to see your car at the event. well done and hope you had a blast! ive got a few piccies you might like..
  17. brembo R32 gtr vspec, or standard R32 gtr brakes? if not brembo i suspect its not worth the hassle..and assuming you have the base model non-brembo v35 coupe.
  18. hi guys selling my Y-pipe-back Blitz exhaust. see the thread in the For Sale section for details: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/432050-sa-v35-skyline-coupe-blitz-exhaust-cheap-300/
  19. Hi guys I have a Blitz exhaust to suit V35 Skyline coupe (should also fit 350Z if you remove about 6inches of pipe length) for sale, located in SA. prefer local buyer but can arrange shipping and negotiate a cost for freight interstate. Item: Blitz Y-pipe-back stainless steel exhaust to suit V35 Skyline coupe Condition: Used. Average wear and tear. slight rattle in mid muffler. No holes or dents. Reason For Sale: i have recently ordered a Powerhouse Amuse R1 Titan exhaust hence i'm selling this one. Description: The exhaust came with the car when i bought it. It looks subtle and sounds nice, just a bit deeper than stock and a nice growl in mid to high rpms. (obviously sound depends a lot on your other mods eg headers, cats/streight pipes, y-pipe, etc). The exhaust is from the Y-pipes back (ie. it does not include the Y-pipe), and will bolt on to your existing Y-pipe. It is a genuine Blitz exhaust, made in Japan, JASMA appoved. Fits nicely in the factory rear bar cutouts. Currently still fitted to my car, will be off in the next couple of weeks. I will update with more photos when it has been removed. Price: $300 or near offer.
  20. hi mate you'd be best to post this in the V-series Skyline section. the V36 shares engine, gearbox, brake, and most other mechanicals with 370Z. part availability should not be a problem at all. they are a very nice GT car...though if you don't need 4 seats and want something sporty, a 370Z is i think about 200kg lighter, therefore a bit more nimble and quick.
  21. thanks for the comments guys. i need to update this thread at some stage..
  22. The Cusco arms are really nicely made, top quality and fit, and I was able to get very precise alignment settings, so I'm very happy with them. The only downside in my view, is that they are heavier than the standard alloy arm. I think the SPL would be lighter than the Cusco arm? I did also consider Ikeya Formula arms, but they were starting to get too pricey for what is at the end of the day my daily driver.
