  1. I have 2 spacesaver spare wheels & tyres for sale. The first one is from a Nissan Skyline R33 GTST, so is 5 x 114.3 stud pattern. This wheel is used, but has plenty of tread left. The tyre is a Bridgestone Tracoma-2 T125/90D16. The back lip of the steel rim had some surface rust from a leaking boot, but I have wire-brushed it off and there is no structural problem. There is a small amount of pitting on the very edge of the lip - the price reflects this at $15. The second one is from a Nissan V35 350GT, and is also 5 x 114.3 stud pattern. This wheel has never been used, and is like new. The tyre is a Goodyear T145/90D16, and still has the coloured stripes on the tread surface. This one is $40. Pickup from Golden Grove SA

  3. I have a Magnaflow HFC for sale - http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/462501-sa-r33-gtst-parts-for-sale/ - in SA though. You may need to make an extender pipe as my dump is longer than stock.
  4. I have the following bits for sale in Adelaide - prefer local pickup but can ship at cost R33 GTST Stock side mount intercooler $25 R34 GTT Stock side mount intercooler - larger than R33 and fits in stock location $50 RB20 10psi turbo actuator - upgrade your R33 RB25DET to run 10psi boost $40 (no photo but we all know what they look like) R33 GTST Airconditioner parts - complete engine bay aircon setup including compressor, condensor, pipes & lines, and radiator fan was all working when removed $50 Aftermarket oil cooler kit including oil cooler core, sandwich plate, and hoses ready to install $100 (note this is a complete setup, with hoses made to length to suit R33 GTST with core mounted in front of drivers side wheel. No photo of core) R33 GTST Airbox & Snorkel $50 Magnaflow 3" High Flow Cat Convertor with flanges welded on $100
  5. Be aware that the Akebono kit won't fit inside 17" rims at all, and will only fit some 18" rims. The stock V35 coupe 18" rims won't clear the front calipers, but 350Z 18" rims do. Other than that the Akebono kit is awesome.
  6. Might be worth listing the rim widths & offsets - most on this forum won't know what a 2009 370GT sedan uses (me included). I'd be surprised if these numbers weren't cast on the back of each rim.
  7. Pretty sure these were the ones I cut the spare thread off with an angle grinder, so I could get a ring spanner on the nut. I tried an open end spanner, but it was going to destroy the nuts. They were f**kin tight.
  8. Looking for a stock oil cooler (warmer?) off an RB25DET - one of these: Preferably in Adelaide. 0428 841 730
  9. Pretty sure the bleed is M6 - the head is 10mm
  10. So you're now in the same position we were earlier in the year - 2 pistons with cracked ringlands, motor in bits, how far to go (how much to spend). We bought oversize forged pistons and had the block bored to suit, but it added close to $1500 to the build cost - the bores had already been honed to refit the stock pistons and had to go back in for the rebore. This was why I had a new set of OEM rings. It will be more a financial decision than anything. Not sure if your mentioned earlier in the thread, but what are you using the car for? Ours is a track car so spends a lot of time working hard - this is what pushed us towards forged pistons.
  11. There is a Cams calendar on the net - http://docs.cams.com.au/Public%20Documents/2015%20CAMS%20State%20Calendars/2015%20SA-NT%20Calendar_Digital.pdf For Supersprints & Hillclimbs the above links are the best - dates, supp regs & entry forms are all posted there. The MSCASA runs 5 Supersprints plus 1 6 hour relay event each year - next years dates (waiting CAMs approval at the moment) should be 20th March, 19th June, 17th July, 21st August & 23rd October for the Supersprints, and 1st May for the 6 hour. I'm a member of CCCSA & MSCASA. Is there still an SAUSA club going - don't really see anything about it? There don't seem to be many SA people on here doing motorsport. Edit - answered my own question about SAUSA - http://www.sausa.com.au/
  12. Hi Adam Probably too late to get into the Cams Club Challenge, but there are plenty of other Cams events on that you can enter to try and break your car. There is an MSCASA Supersprint at Malalla this Sunday (http://www.mscasa.com/ but entries have closed now - worth a look if you are interested for next year), a Come & Try Hillclimb at Collingrove on October 24th, and a competition hillclimb (Multiclub 3) at Collingrove on October 25th - http://www.sportingcarclub.com.au/#!collingrove-hillclimb/c16ac There is also an OzGymkhana event on the 24th & 25th October, and a come & try Motorkhana on on October 25th. I'll be driving at Mallala this Sunday, and should be at Collingrove on October 25th
  13. What John is saying is the the FPCM is originally connected between the grey wire from the fuel pump & earth - it simply switches a voltage dropping resistor in & out to reduce the voltage across the fuel pump. By earthing the grey wire, you have already taken the FPCM out of the circuit - it doesn't matter if you leave it plugged in or not. Don't confuse the FPCM with the original fuel pump relay, which provides the +12V to the fuel pump when the ECU decides it wants the pump running.
  14. Faulty actuators was (is) an ongoing problem with V35's - there is a thread on G35Driver that shows how to replace with an off-the-shelf actuator for around $20. I did this mod to my V35 when I first bought it, and the actuator worked fine the whole time I had the car. I have no idea how the V36 actuator works, or if this is a viable option, but I would be checking it out before shelling out hundreds of dollars for new OEM actuators. The thread is at: http://g35driver.com/forums/interior-exterior/347409-5-door-lock-actuator-fix-updated-thread.html
  15. The spacers I'm talking about fit into the back of the rim, and stay there. They come off the car with the rim. They are like: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MISSION-SPEED-OD-67-1mm-ID-66-1mm-WHEEL-HUB-CENTRE-SPACER-HUB-RING-ALUMINIUM-/271986666964?hash=item3f53ab2dd4 They are there to make the rim's hub hole fit to the car's hub. Tyres are 235/40R17
  16. What about a set of Oz Racing, 17 x 8 and +38 (I think - need to confirm). They are Evo rims, so 67.1mm hub, but can supply with a set of alloy hub spacers to fit Skyline. Currently fitted with Toyo R1R's in 235/45 (once again, need to confirm), with tread left (not huge amount, but got a few track days left in them). Rims were professional re-painted in 2 pack not so long ago, but 1 has a small area needing a patchup. There is also a 5th rim with no tyre available. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ilud8dtygoe0ami/2015-08-22%2015.53.55a.jpg?dl=0 They belong to my son, if interested I'll get full details & confirm price. We ran these for a while on an R33 GTST without spacers, and they could have done with a bit more poke.
  17. Interested in 350Z OEM Touring rims in 18x8 +30? They are the same as these - http://g35driver.com/forums/accessories-cdn/352446-fs-hankook-ice-bear-winter-tires-225-40-18-oem-350z-touring-wheels.html They look good on an R33 GTST, and fill the guards quite well. I've got 2 sets. Set 1 has almost new tyres - 2 x Achilles ATR Sport 245/45R18 & 2 x Zetum Sport (Bob Jane) 235/40R18. Different front & rear sizes because they were on a 350GT - not even sure if the 245/45 will fit in an R33 guard, but can try them. Set 2 currently fitted with Kuhmo KU36's but they are pretty much stuffed. All rims have been resrayed and are in good condition, and all have centre caps. Located in SA but can send with E-Go at cost.
  18. I've got 3 or 4 used OEM pistons (had at least 2 with broken ringlands, would have to check the rest) if you want a cheap option. Also have a brand new set of OEM rings in stock size - bought then decided to buy forged pistons.
  19. Read the fine print on the warranty before deciding what it's worth to you - they (third party warranty suppliers, not specifically this one) don't have a good rep. The one that came with my 350GT wasn't worth the paper it was written on - the conditions, limits etc made it basically useless. I didn't pay extra for it as it was included with the car, so wasn't too worried. To put the auto box into context, I had an auto 350GT that was pretty much stock mechanically, and a manual R33 GTST track car with extra power & handling setup. On the same tyres, the 350GT auto is still my fastest time at Collingrove hillclimb by about 1/10th of a second. I found it was faster left in auto mode, rather than shifting myself - the lag when changing manually was too much.
  20. On the off-chance it's a Custco diff, this article shows how to tune the diff: http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/2966/Project-370Z-Improving-Grip-by-Tuning-a-Cusco-RS-LSD.aspx
