Richard GTST Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) Just thought I'd add to this After you put your new oil in, before you start the engine, disconnect the cam angle sensor (circled red in attached pic), then go to start the car. It will crank over but won't start. Let it crank for say 10 seconds or so. This will build oil pressure in your engine without actually starting the engine, preventing your engine from being starved of oil during a brief period. Reconnect the sensor and when you start the car you should notice the oil light turn off pretty quickly.
