Rb20 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results

Internally stock RB20DET in S13 Silvia.

MODS:

- KKR430

-Apexi AVC-R

-RB26 Apexi Power FC

-Full 3 inch custom exhaust system with 3” high flow cat

-Front mount intercooler with custom piping

-Custom solid intake pipe with pod mounted behind headlight.

FUEL SYSTEM:

-400cc Injectors

-Bosch 040 Fuel pump

-Sard Fuel Pressure Reg with Fuel Pressure Gauge

1.4 bar saw 301.7hp at the wheel on a hot day here in QLD.

Had another retune yesterday to iron out some flat spots...mods have not changed...

1989 RB20DET R32

3" Turboback Exhaust with 3" Metalcat

Hybrid FMIC

Bosch 040

GTR Injectors

Z32 afm

Just Jap coilpacks

Turbotech Bleeder

Aerospeed cam gears

HKS 2535

DR DRIFT Remap

Power is up to 237rwkw @ 19psi with AFRs sitting safely at 12:1...which is a decent improvement from my last tune...curve is not as smooth as before probably due to coils/plugs/slight boost fluctuations...but it'll do... :D

CAMS - 272/272 (Not Confirmed)

TURBO - HKS TO4ZR

ECU - Remapped Factory ECU (Not by me unfortunately)

POWER - 367rwkw

We had to limit the boost to 23 psi as the std ignition system was breaking down and loosing spark. The 367rwkw was run with slight misfire, confident of more with better spark...

Anyway, pictures tell a thousand words...

produced 210.7kw at the wheels with 10.5 AFR

boost controller set on 12psi low boost has been 22 psi but bad boost spike

k/n pod filter

made 220rwkw on 12psi will make well over 240kw on high boost without spike. very laggy set up full boost hits at 4700

Everything standard except:

Trust TD05-16G (no boost controller, peaking at 12psi then dropping to 9)

Trust cast dump pipe (came with turbo kit)

Blitz Front mount intercooler

Trust Power extreme exhaust (with 1" silencer plug in rear muffler, standard cat still)

This car has not been tuned with the standard computer back in (had to take out eManage Ultimate when i got done by EPA a while ago, along with all other mods :D )!

It was put on the dyno to check out AFR's...

goal is to hit 250

Standard everything except for a K&N panel filter and a 3" exhaust from the turbo back.

Now to add the R34 GT-T turbo and intercooler, EBC, fuel pump, NisTune, etc. Hoping for 200kW.

torbsmart boost T (boost is set to 13 but tapers off to 11 after 4000rpm)

gtr power fc (tuned)

bosch 040 intank fuel pump

drift pod filter

98 fuel

everything else standard

made 165rwkw (222.1hp@5700rpm) and 458.0 N.M of torque

will try to get dyno sheet up

this is my boyfriends car

The following modifications:

- POD Filter

- 3" turbo back exhaust (Just jap dump, X-Force Highflow, Kakimoto muffler)

- FMIC

- Greddy Profec B Spec II Electronic Boost Controller

- HKS SSQ BOV

- 440cc GTR Injectors

- GTR Fuel Pump

- RB25 Turbo from an R34 (Nylon Compresor Wheel)

- Stock ECU with Nistune ROM remapped by Allstar Tuning in W.A

- Stock AFM

- Stock Plenum

- Stock Coilpacks

- Sparkies gapped to 0.8

- Running 98 RON fuel

Made 195 kw or ~261 hp at the wheels at slightely less than 1 bar. ;)

Very happy with those results.
