I sit at 1.9-2.1k revs at 100-110. :)

Sits at 2.5k at 140 :)

Morning bishes! Mike I share your sentiments

Cowdy, with your drive train issue, don't swap out the 33 box. Find a better diff. 33 boxes are pretty strong and no point putting a weaker one in. Diff will give you the right ratios. Maybe even a 350z diff?

morning all

i think the diff would be a better option probs cheaper. and yeah tony im looking for about what you have. i like to cruise at around 2000 in any gear, if i want powah i just change back

Keep in mind this will mess up your speedo reading. Make it read slower then what your actually doing

yeah i have to get it all redone anyway :/ the wheels messed with it and made it like 7km out at 100 which isnt to bad

there is just many thought on what i would like to do to the car. whats just it :P thoughts :P

apprentice wages arnt to allowing :(

WOw. Thats gotta be so comfortable to cruise in. Mine's giving me the shits. Tried changing to a smaller exhaust but it's scrapping the drive shaft for whatever reason. CBF trying to make it fit.

Anyone know about this? Putting R33 GTR in RWD by disconnecting a plug. Probably works the same for R34 as well and I think should be similiar to pulling the fuse in the R32. If so, probably be more fun at skidspan! Wag was having so much fun in his 32 after pulling out the fuse and mine just keep trying to "save" me but messing up the torque!

Maxima makes for an awesome cruiser. Easy ride that doesn't tear your back apart, right Mike?

Also, I just realised that even after all my whore efforts I still haven't caught bloody josh... Geez, back in the good ol days doing 130-200 posts a day :woot:

Or was the turbo named after a boy? ;)

Well I suppose it was, because the turbo was named after the designer *for memory*

One of the first songs I learned on the g-tar lol

It's just Fb C D Bb over and over

Yep, nice and easy. Smoke on the water is also easy as pie *starts humming the tune*

Where do I get the forum business cards?

Sadly not burnt... The rain didnt let me :(

I have a couple here. We need to order more of everything. I'll give you a couple next time I see you

Hi boyfriend :P *annoying girlfriend voice*

Okay guys... I'm new to whoreing, give me a run down??

Sit on the forums and talk crap with these wan...err lovely boys.

Sounds like someone really doesn't give a fly f@ck about their car....it's almost a crime :-

We need the RSPCC (RSPCA for Cars).

Didnt I just explain this?

Basically come here talk crap and hang out... The more you hang out the bigger of a whore you are, *looks at post count* I believe I'm qld's most infamous whore :P

I thought Mike and Tony were our residents whores?

Over a cliff?

I'm going to lose my shit if you can't make it

Keep your Lacey's on Mike. You been losing you shit about everything lately.

I see what you did there :P

She went to sleep

So when do I get to see this abomination? I'm pretty keen

Goodnight MrsCowdy! You don't want to see it. It stole my child's innocence and made

Essentially, I second 90% of Mikes crap, disagree with 90% of Nicks crap, reckon Ants is on the ball 90% of the time and believe that Cowdy could be 90% better at whoring. Did we just have Mrs Cowdy ask how to whore? lol!Welcome to the club! Who's coming to the montht meet next week?

Meeeeeee.

I have seen in and watched the video it looks pretty nice. But nothing will compare to seeing it in person.

On another note I am really sick of this hoon label. Driving home a swift was going 70 in a 60 zone. Red p plater. Then there is me 60 in the 60 and I get pulled over and I asked why me not the swift it was speeding she said your in a hoons cars. I'm like "that's offensive. It's an import and I do not hoon I just like this certain car. I could do more damage and get away with it in the Swift than this. I would do one chirpie in this and get it impounded."

She replied with "ill be back." Went back to the car came back and was like have a good night and got back in her car

As I said the abomination makes children cry!

Sorry kid but its all part of driving a Skyline. If you dont like it buy a Maxima....or a Swift! There is jack shit we can do about it besides making sure we're clean of defects and driving to the laws/conditions.

Hey I'm only new to it... Give me time and ill be called an escort

Diary of a call girl?

    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
