i know it made me go and check my insurance policy last night!

i really do hope you get it back as if you dont have comp insurance it will be a bitter pill to swallow.

I just thought James - a few members went up the old road tonight - if anyone could msg them and keep an eye out too (who knows what direction these f**kers go) but it would help.

My eyes are open James - lets hope it gets back to you in one peice and the f**kers rott in hell...or spend most of their life with bubba in jail..

Yeah good idea mate, but we didnt see it up there

Just as well that I don't keep my car fueled up, it's sitting on empty so might be careless enough not to fill up. So they probably won't go far with the amount in the tank

Definatly spend the weekend going to all the servos that it couldve made it to (within reason) and ask - or even put up LOST flyers with a clear pic?

So sorry to hear mate

thanks guys for all your support.....yeah, butcher knives and baseball bats all out and ready.

and no I don't have insurance, I was waiting until I turned 25 for the premium to go down as I usually don't have a lot of money saved up with rent, bills, food and the rest to pay so I guess I'll have to take it like a man.

I'm fairly certain I won't see her again as the cops won't go actively looking for it, I guess it's up to me to try and find her. I'll be out of the skyline scene for the time being but I'll be back with a GTR sometime next year........hopefully. Too much crap happeninig to me these days, maybe i'll get lucky with lotto this week. Fingers cross :(

For these cVnts who took my car, if you are reading this, you better PRAY I don't find out who you are. I'll break your arms and leg and paralyse you from the neck down and i'll keep you alive to suffer for the next 30 years. You bitches know where I live, i'll be waiting and i'll show you what it means to mess with my car.

I'm sure the rest of SAU would love to smack you bitches up one by one.

Sorry to hear. Maybe call servos in your area to keep an eye out?

Definently try it..

Make a few colour copies of the car,and post a reward for it..definently give it to the servo attednees who were in the alloted time slot that you belive the car to be stolen...

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate
    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
