Cool thread.

Here is mine, it was color changed  before I bought it, so never knew the original color.

Cheers!

TH1 = Dark Blue Pearl

I just saw your thread, you would have seen TH1 in real life as that's what colour your car was / is LOL!

It got colored changed before I got to see it in it's original color, so I've never seen th1.

As mine was produced in late 1991, does that mean it's got the better oil drive thing?

From memory, the improved oil pump drive collar was either done on the later model R32 GTR's or in the RB26 on the R33 GTR's

It only failed with high power applications but if you running for street, low to mid power, you will be good

Unless you do a full rebuild, you would install the improved oil pump drive collar

Hi

Could someone please tell me if my engine is the original one it left the factory with please?

VIN 6U900WGNC34105861

Eng RB26053432A

Thank you!

Hey man.

As far as I know the engine numbers weren't tied to the chassis, so there wasn't any way of knowing if it was the original or a swap. All we could tell you is whether it's the engine is the right kind.

That being said, i'm not sure how to look your Stagea? up? It doesn't work in my versions of FAST.

Hi,

Can I please request mine:

HR31-067403

Pretty sure it may have been auto originally but I have to know!

I can't figure out how to get FAST to display the characters correctly on my machine.

Thank you

Manual!
Possibly need to change your font in the setup to Japanese script. or edit your nsfastky.ini file to english:
[Condition]
Destination=DM
Channel=1
Language=ENG
FontName=Courier New
FontSize=10

No problems mate!

Here it is for you anyway, and you can get some cool extra info and links for the Autech Stags from Marks (Sin-) web database: http://gtr-registry.com/en-stagea-260rs.php

If you bang your VIN in there you get:

    • haha don't worry I'm sue you've got more fun ahead buying a 30 year old turbo car....but at least you are in the right place to ask
    • some days eh? The keyless entry and interior light on/off with the key will be controlled by the Body Control Module, but I'm not certain where that is or what it looks like (you might get lucky with a search to get a part#, which could be printed on it). I'd start at the A pillar/ Under dash/kick panel on the driver's side
    • It might be hit and miss, but Nissan Genuine Parts and Pitworks are not the same thing, although both are available from Nissan Dealers with Nissan Part Numbers. Nissan Genuine Parts are the OEM stuff, Pitworks are their attempt to get people back from generic parts makers
    • I did end up getting it sorted, as GTSBoy said, there was a corroded connection and wire that needed to be replaced. I ended up taking out the light assembly, giving everything a good clean and re-soldered the old joints, and it came out good.
    • Wow, thanks for your help guys 🙏. I really appreciate it. Thanks @Rezz, if i fail finding any new or used, full or partial set of original Stage carpets i will come back to you for sure 😉 Explenation is right there, i just missed it 🤦‍♂️. Thanks for pointing out. @soviet_merlin in the meantime, I received a reply from nengun, and i quote: "Thanks for your message and interest in Nengun. KG4900 is for the full set of floor mats, while KG4911 is only the Driver's Floor Mat. FR, RH means Front Right Hand Side. All the Full Set options are now discontinued. However, the Driver's Floor Mat options are still available according to the latest information available to us. We do not know what the differences would be, but if you only want the one mat, we can certainly see what we can find out for you". Interesting. It seems they still have some "new old stock" that Duncan mentioned 🤔. I wonder if they can provide any photos......And i also just realized that amayama have G4900 sets. I'm tempted too.
