EXCELLENT IDEA!!!

Although, ....would it be possible to include what post number it is next to the user name in your layout?

EG:

rb25 - R33, R34, or Stagea

DYNO

255rwkw - Abo_Bob #9

220rwkw - 4door_sleeper #15

191rwkw - SECUR1TY #12

That way we can go straight to that post number rather than sifting through the whole thread trying to find what was done to that car/auto to achieve that figure....

cheers

P.S: Will post up my figures when i have em...

i could... but i personalyl think that would make it kind of confusing...

maybe after a while i could compile a list of the "best automatic mods" in the first post as most people are heading in the same direction with their modification route to achieve similar results

and on the not of results.. i had a new justjap intercooler and BATMBL split dump installed yesterday..

old setup was 3" bellmouth dump and small FMIC and was 155rwkw @ 14psi.. new setup made 170.4rwkw @ 13psi!!!!

and that's on the rb25 turbo!

R31 skyline, Rb30, Gt42 roller

378rwkw on 23psi, pump fuel

Mv automatics Re401RA trans

manual valve body

custom second gear hub

stage 2 shift kit

trans cooler

presently no 1/4 mile time as we have no track and i can't get

the auto to be reliable at the moment it is back at Mv's again

might be to much power for it, so you will have to look at the 300zx/patrol

box for over 300rwkw, or a powerglide/3 speed jatco etc maybe,

he is disecting it at the moment

cheers

darren

Guess i'll be the baseline...

142.1rwkw .... 11/1998 R34 - stock as a rock. Haven't run it on the track yet, they cancelled street meets at adelaide international raceway.

They are all anti auto fascist zionist cops!!!!

lol - picsorban !! :P

Gotta love the auto, I'll never go manual again. If only a PowerFc would work with the auto, if only.........

unfortunatly, ill always want to go manual.

i know how to drive an auto hard, trust me, but there is just something about a manual that does it for me.

i guess it could be that i can just cruise a long, 2nd gear, revs and pop cluch and out it comes!

i also find the manual is less hard on the brakes due to engine braking being more useful.

anyway, not to take away from the auto. for a 99% daily and 1% fun car, an auto is great! (too bad i seriously injured mine :P)

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
