Jeez I'm so exhausted from all this driving......yeah hardly anyone there, only person there was a guy in his freshly built mx5. He didn't stay long as he had car trouble and left after an hour. The longer I stay, the more addictive it becomes, didn't really want to leave but then this truck turned up....seriously, did the half track in 56 seconds.....best I managed was around 57-58.

Wish had more of you weaksauces out there today but still fun......

Gotta say it was agreat day, yes alittle hot but we got so much track time that it didn't matter.

I did 200km's at the track and at the end of the day a porsche turned up for a few hot laps, i followed him around the track and he wasn't much faster then me and he was doing 1:25's so i estimate i was doing 1:26's!!!

We did get interupted by a sports sedan that did 3 laps and poured oil alover the track!!! thought our day was done but it dried up abit and before long we were getting stuck into it again. Hairy moment for Adam though, i'll let him tell you about that one. But a really good day, ohh and the corsair challenge!!! how funny was that...

Thanks for all the good times this yr people, being my first yr with SAU and my first yr on a track its been great, i don't think i'll be to anymore days this yr, going to give the ol' girl a rest and give her a freshen up. So i'll see you all soon somewhere around and until next yr track whores have a good one!!!

Ando my boy if you read this mate the heat is on!!! starting to really get to know how to drive my car so i'm only going to get faster... BEWARE!!!

Adam, Paul thanks for all the advice over the track days, it makes it that much better when people are willing to help you whenever you need it. Ohh and Paul my shout next one hey...

Wayne, Phil and Steve nice to meet you hopefully see you at some more track days.

And Peno, that thing is fast for a boat!!!

Always a fun time on the track with SAU members and tidy Skylines.

Plenty of track time on a clean surface with perfect weather,

can't ask for more. Except for getting rid of overboost,

as 25psi @ 5000rpm was a little too high for the boat.

Looking forward to the next track day.

there isnt no one day cams passes at oran park hey?.. was thinkin mite show up tomo?

edit: if there is one that is

lol could we get so more dates for the near future!!!

I think Mal Rose is running his V8 supercars there tomorrow, they were dropping them off today and we thought he was there to run but the bloke at OP said he was just dropping them off for tomorrow, but check before taking my word for it.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
