either stick with stock I reckon or go the whole hog with a nice japanese cooler. can't go past the ARC cores, in all probability they are the best in the business.

I know of a particular car making closer to 400awkw still using the factory GTR intercooler

I know of a couple aswell...

Cant be that bad if people are using them.

danoz - do you even know if there is going to be a pressure drop?

Have you measured one?

I'd leave as is, you can always measure it later on and then refit accordingly

Yes you cn make power with the stock cooler, but at the expense of pumping more boost into the hot side of the cooler than needed.

We have a TRUST 600x300x115 cooler on our car at the moment and we have found that we are also starting to get a drop across the core.

We are looking at getting a custom core with the size being 700x340x150 made up so we don't have these problems again.

You can just get the big TRUST units like the 600x 300x 165 and you would be done.

Keep in mind that the larger an intercooler the more air it holds, the more inertia this causes and hence lessens the throttle response. Personally (for what I use mine for) I would give away a couple of psi of pressure drop for an improvement in reponse. It all comes down to what you use the car for.

 cheers :)

PS; the best I have seen out of a standard R33GTR intercooler was 450 rwkw.

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 馃檹 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 馃槈. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 馃槏 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
