Supersprints usually allocate you a number on the day. Stick it on a window (usually) & it won't damage anything.

Blue triangles - you can either go buy one from somewhere like revolution racegear or do what I did & trundle down to your local sign shop & ask for an offcut of blue sticker stuff. Either that or go for the classy insulation tape. Noice.

thanks mate - yep - they have allocated me a number - but wasnt sure if i get the sticker made up myself or they give it to me on the day (bathurst super sprint)

and your from hornsby arent you? which place did you go to? :(

(i am thinking of the right member yeah??)

I used to make the number up on A4 (in Word), then enlarge it on the photocopier to A3.

3M "Invisible" tape sticks it cleanly to the doors. Only potential problem is if it rains - which, unfortunately, isn't such a major threat ATM.

Now I have a set of proper numbers on a magnetic square. Still use 3M to stick down the leading edges.

As for battery triangle, blue electrical tape works wonders and doesn't stick so hard that you can't pull it off cleanly.

i use a magnetic number. tape the top edge and leading edge, sometimes do all 4 edges if i'm not in a hurry. i've got a magnetic blue triangle too but it dont work on the GTR (alloy bonnet! d'oh) but it's fine on the GTST etc. worth the investment. just if you do use the mag ones be sure to tape them down as nothing looks stupidier than seeing some clown nail it on the straight only to have his number fly (and they really fly) off at 210kph. even less funny if you are driving behind and it lands on your windscreen.

I've also used race tape for numbers, fine as long as you take it off that day and dont leave ti on for a while.

Also blue electrical tape makes a great triangle.

But the easiest way is to buy triangle and numbers from Race and Rally in Greenacre.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
