Sorry mate but no one other than the Club Executive and the organisers will know the destination prior to the event so that everyone has to come to the meeting point at Aspley. Not trying to be sneaky or mean, just want everyone to be in one place for the briefing instructions. In past years, people have just driven to the destination and waited for us to arrive. What fun is that??

This is the most applicable way to run a truly group cruise, it also prevents the possibility of unwanted or inappropriate guests.

The destination will be announced the morning of the cruise...

You guys will only need about a half a tank of fuel if thats what your asking, this year the destination is fairly close so we can have fun together, ie have a little show and shine and play touch footy and enjoy a few snags off the BBQ...

So yeah Rhinorebal also pointed out a few reasons...

Yeah, Group cruises need to start somewhere and finish somewhere...

In the afternoon after all the fun and games, some of us will remain behind to clean up but we encourage most of you to cruise back to pick and pay together...

tell meeee!

Its in that special place where you discovered how to make babies...

ill see if i can bring a photographer(spell??) with me.

Who???

Who???

his name is Mark, and he has done quite a bit of photo shooting and everything, at one stage he was going to work for StreetMachine(the mag) as a photographer...

he is trying to buy a skyline atm, so he wants to come along to the cruise and maybe take some good pics.

Col, I'll get in touch with slip, and email squizz.... see if the old skoolers can be moved out of there rocking chairs too

Anyone seen or heard from Gary (used to own SKA's stagea) and all round good bloke (revhead - Marc) is he comming aswell?

Cheers Pete (BOOSTA)

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
