Yep - big thanks to Racingline and all our officials, you guys really do make these days possible, we can't thank you enough. Also too a big thanks to Steve and Shaun from SAU NSW for coming all that way just to learn how to run a REAL event and that you stand no chance of beating us at anything

The day was a bit warm but a success all the same. The little red cheater car sure is fun!

Tired and in need of a shower - the after-hours stories (and oh, what stories) will have to wait for now.

Some highlights though...

Cougar - i want the fat one, i want the fat one

Juz - let's mace someone!

Sunshine Steve - bleurgh! (spews x3)

James

BTW - Nath, sorry we lost you this morning, Alan tried to call but your phone was off :P

PICS OF STEVE CHUNDERING OR BAN!

I had a massive laugh this morning at a voicemail message left on my phone at midnight last night about this!! I had to listen to it several times to understand what was actually said (you weren't too sober your self by the sounds of things!)

Sounds like it was an awesome weekend!!!

Little bit of feedback:

With one of the battle courses after lunch (haven't got a schedule to check the name...might have been battle of the hoth or something), but the cones on the map were a fair bit different to the actual cone setup on the skid pan....I did this myself, and noticed heaps of others doing the same thing, when getting to the first of the top 3 cones, realising that the 2nd cone wasn't where they thought it would be, and having to nail the brakes and almost throw in a u-turn to make the 2nd....

thanks to all who helped run the event and organise it.

good fun was had by all. all of my pics are now uploaded so u can browse them all now. im pretty tired now and looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. good work everyone and am wondering who has won rwd outright for the year?

Well guys I'm still pumped after this event and all I can say is each DECA is getting better and better or getting worse and worse depending on your point of view :)

I'm working on getting my pics uploaded at the moment so I'll have the link posted soon :)

Thanks to everyone involved in running this event as with out you guys we wouldn't have had such a cool event.

**Go the Shepp Stripers** :P:sick::mad:

are you sure it was an MOS DJ?

If so, MOS must've had a momentary lapse in standards... :(

DJ was Mr.Timothy

but he didnt actually start playing until we had all left i think. As he wasnt playing while i was there

hehe... that video is absolute GOLD.

And after his first incident (before the video) he said right away...

"im never gonna hear the end of this am i?"

hahahahahahah

I still think that it was that extra "special" shot that he went out the back to get, so that he could get his second Pancho Villa before we had even gotten our first.

    • Robertson was a Canadian inventor, and it absolutely reigns supreme here. 95% of our screws are Roberston. It's literally the only option you can buy off store shelves. What would it have lost out too? I believe it's also very popular in the US.  My reference to imperial was pointed to both NPT and BSP.
    • No. BSP lost to the cultural/technical imperialism of living next to Trumpistan. Face it, Robertson screws were better and still pretty much lost out to the yank stuff. The Europeans hate the Brits and they don't use NPT. NPT is just as "imperial" as BSP is, being based on those useless inch thingos. Just done differently.
    • I live in Quebec. Our license plate slogan is "Je me souviens" Translated is "We will remember" as a reminder to when England conquered us and that we must never forget what they did. Long story short, BSP is unheard of here due to being an English design. I'm surprised our nazi anti english government office the OQLF hasn't kicked in my door yet just talking about it, yet alone imperial anything.
    • Thanks for that! I did a quick Google search looked up some of hydaulic stores and didn't see it listed on the website, I'll give them a ring. Also found out later that I can buy 2 oem bleeder bolts for 10 bux and come with the washer which I might do so I don't waste the money it costs in petrol to find 2 washers (already did that lol). The old copper washes look in good nick, I drove it after taking it off and putting it back on and didn't see any  Part number here for reference if anyone needs: 14053-42L0A
