what i find amusing, is how some members pose as "mature" and "responsible" types on here.... when there posts on NS.com clearly show there not. lol

ohhh the irony :(

and yet they still manage to drop comments and one liners on here that show they arent what they talk themselves up to be...

sometimes i wish i could be cool and bag out other forums

actually you completely missed the point i was making....

i wasnt bagging NS.com... rather the members who are on both forums and post in the mentioned ironic way...

so who actually is denying what was said? maybe it wasnt put the right way, but why buy a turbo car unless your gonna drive fast? yes there are track days and off street drags, but if you've drive these cars on the street, and say u dont drive quick, your lying (99% of you anyway).

Dezz, what is your personal vendetta against NS.com? Every chance that I see you take qoutes of there, post on here and act as if your shit dont stink and you are number 1.

Kim wasnt saying that by owning an import you have the duty to speed, but rather saying that whats the point of driving a fast car, modifiying your car, spending SHIT loads of money on your car if you are not going to "use" it in a worth while manner (Speaking of street driven cars only). He claims you could be just as well off buying a SMART car as they are better on the fuel, if you are only using your car to go from point A to point B. If you like the looks, get a non-turbo line/sil/soarer/supra etc.

Everyone, absolutely everyone with an import gives it some stick some time. Thats not to say they do 100 over or whatever, but just because you only do it once in a week, and other once in a day, that doesnt make your any better or worse.

One murder is just as bad as 100 murders mate.

How about you just keep the knowledge that you are the child of god to yourself, and bask in it at home and understand the idea that everyone gets whats coming to them eventually so there is no need to preach your views and impose your opinions on others. I am sure everyone understands the consequences of their actions.

i know thats the only reason why i got my import..

:D

haha....i did that when i looked at my car - checked to see the mirrors folded

my brother was standing beside me - he thought i was an idiot - how right he is....

100 murders makes you a mass murderer and is worse than murdering 1 person

I didn't mention any names, or a forum name...You did, so don't accuse me of bagging a forum or a member of it :D

I think the post was hilarious given things the poster has posted on SAU stating that he/she is a mature person who doesn't do those sorts of things.

    • Hi all, Long time since I've posted here. Looking for some advice on what I can remove to further identify the cause of my issues.  I can move the passenger seat forward and back but the knob used to adjust the seat angle is pretty much free spinning, there's very little resistance.  Removing the side cover I can see that the chain is intact but the shaft for the adjustment spins without the gear attached to it moving.  What's my next step for disassembly here? Is this a common fault? Just being a little cautious as I didn't want to start removing bolts for a spring to fly out or something equally as stupid.  Cheers
    • Those above shitboxes, mediocre and above usually have a turbo strapped to them, hence the slightly higher octane is required.
    • Hi all,   long time listener, first time caller   i was wondering if anyone can help me identify a transistor on the climate control unit board that decided to fry itself   I've circled it in the attached photo   any help would be appreciated
    • I mean, I got two VASS engineers to refuse to cert my own coilovers stating those very laws. Appendix B makes it pretty clear what it considers 'Variable Suspension' to be. In my lived experience they can't certify something that isn't actually in the list as something that requires certification. In the VASS engineering checklist they have to complete (LS3/NCOP11) and sign on there is nothing there. All the references inside NCOP11 state that if it's variable by the driver that height needs to maintain 100mm while the car is in motion. It states the car is lowered lowering blocks and other types of things are acceptable. Dialling out a shock is about as 'user adjustable' as changing any other suspension component lol. I wanted to have it signed off to dissuade HWP and RWC testers to state the suspension is legal to avoid having this discussion with them. The real problem is that Police and RWC/Pink/Blue slip people will say it needs engineering, and the engineers will state it doesn't need engineering. It is hugely irritating when aforementioned people get all "i know the rules mate feck off" when they don't, and the actual engineers are pleasant as all hell and do know the rules. Cars failing RWC for things that aren't listed in the RWC requirements is another thing here entirely!
    • I don't. I mean, mine's not a GTR, but it is a 32 with a lot of GTR stuff on it. But regardless, I typically buy from local suppliers. Getting stuff from Japan is seldom worth the pain. Buying from RHDJapan usually ends up in the final total of your basket being about double what you thought it would be, after all the bullshit fees and such are added on.
