alan didint u see the (old) roman (times) cop in the middle of the road ushering the ppl away. he is even got a sword brandishing, i can only assume he is saying that move out of the way or prepare to die (u infidels ;-) ).

Heyy... dont be kissing me with those lips... i think.. i'm going.. to be sick... :)

Anyways... dezz do you know what mods are done to the cop cars? :)

From what i've heard over the years they have some form of chipped ECU, and some suspension....they also carry a fair bit of weight with all the shit they add on so performance wise it'd balance out the 'mods' anyway

scomods?

I asked the same thing lol

With the weight in the cop cars i know their sedans have plastic seats at the back... very uncumftable... but yea they would be carrying a bit more weight unless its just a dedicated highway patrol car... now they f*kn fly...

I've seen that marked GTO Monaro in the city a couple of years ago...actually has the HSVGTO plates on it!

All the Hyundai and other crap cars that sit on the side of the road with cameras...aren't they all Tennix cars as the cops outsource this job to Tennix ..?

Yea i think your right dude... they make heaps of commission on its aswell ey those pricks sitting in the cars?

Theres a pic a couple pages back of that monaro your talking about aswell..

Anyone know exactly what's done to the cop cars?

I know Holden cop cars get a heavy duty wiring loom for accessories like lights and sirens, speedo head goes up in 2kmh increments instead of 5 kmh.

The marked white Commodores get 15"stockies all round with 225/65/15 tyres (wider than standard) lowered FE2 suspension from the SS's models.

Highway persuit cars get smaller 17" wheels instead of the standard 18"inch wheels, the auto can be pulled back from Drive into Second gear without using the button on the gear shift to shift down and some get a shit yellow paint job however most persuit cars are white with an orrange strip down the sides.

As far as ECU upgrades go they are a myth. All servicing is carried out as per normal by Holden dealerships but is also logged in a special folder held at the dealership. After a high speed chase the brakes and brake fluid has to be inspected and/or changed and if a tyre is showing signs of abnormal wear or they get a puncture they must be replaced as opposed to repaired

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
