i had access to an airstip (before it was closed down) and got up to 6500rpm in 5th gear in my 33. thats somewhere around 230-240kmh.

i think it would be safe to say that anyone that has run down the 1/4 mile should've got to atleast about 160kmh.

cept for scorp32 - he has reached 11ty billion!

now THATS moving!

I once had mine on a airstrip and got 240kph, still had about 500 rpm to redline as well from memory, but i ran out of space, was surprised by how good the car still felt at that speed and amused by how close the speedo was to hitting 0 again, although it was very well made road i suppose

Oh nooooooooo ! Not he Flux Capasiter again. . . . .Im getting that twitch in my eye.....Help me Im going.. going....

Cant..... Stop....My....Mind.... %&$#..............

WELL my cars sooo fast that now Ive retro fitted a Kryton switch to my Flux Capasiter, it warps my line into the Lamba Dimension (which is only 1.5km across) and I only have to move about a meter and Im doin like 7 hundred thousand mlies an hour ! ! !

i did that on my push bike, but since this was about skylines i didn't want to brag.

Hahaha, that's hilarious. Once, I went really fast on my bike as a kid, and I nearly shat myself. I seirously thought I was going to die.

It was a massive hill, and I was going 80 ks on my little speedo thing. It was actually pretty accurate (tested next to mum's car).

I was too scared to hit the brakes in case if I unsettled the bike. If I fell off, I woulda been skinned alive.

Even the little bumps on the road almost made the bike lose control. Stupid times. lol

yeah mine cuts out what looks like 190

since i knew about the 180 limiters i thought the speedo was way out but ive been told that the speedlimiters aren't at exactly 180. haven't had the GPS in the car yet but i think the speedo is quite accurate

    • A bit late but A disk S13P fit over stock R32 GTR brakes, usually A disk front, O disk rear works.
    • Or, the height of the release bearing is not correct for your combo. Start with the bleeding and checking the slave moves throughout its range when you press the pedal (2 person required), but it is possible for the height to be internally wrong too (box back off to measure.
    • Yes, there's quite a few things that can go wrong during a clutch install. Very unlikely. I have a similar clutch. They (ACS) make good gear. No, it is not normal. It is possible that you just need to bleed the clutch slave. But the new clutch will also have a more aggressive actuation force/pressure, and so your old slave cylinder might be a bit leaky or otherwise compromised, and not up to the extra force required. Or the master cylinder, same.
    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
