Devils_Advocate21
Depends what you are aiming for, Normal Driving you can get away with shifting at 3g, if you want wear and tear and max power ie: Drag Strip, shift i say around 6500, hope that helps Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/159516-wat-rpm/#findComment-2961541 Share on other sites
Guilt-Toy
it depends on your setup. if your car makes the same decent power all the way to redline then red line it... in some cases (if your talking about racing changes) it is better to change at 5900 or around that to get more out of your power band. get your car on the dyno and let the dyno tuners test where your power and torque drops off and tell you when its a good time to change to get back into your power band. jrocket
lol. just do what ya feel dude. you will know when you are f'ing things up. I just rev it depending on how i feel. ie angry = fast hard, depressed = slow easy. haha prob not the best terminology. Mostly i am happy to drive normal (grandma pace) but every now and then i like some stick. Gazee
wtf is wrong with people on here? The kids asking a question and he's getting crucified? People have opted to help... and its good that they have... people who are just going to make him look like a fool and play "follow the leader" beacuse one person says "oh what a dumb question" should take their own advice and just stfu If it bothers you soo much that he's posting and asking these questions then don't open the topic if you see his name.... common sense... p.s. if the search button worked as well as it should then we'd all be using it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/159516-wat-rpm/#findComment-2962508 Share on other sites
