uh-hyuk! down here in victoria we likes our sister punch and our laws stupid? (at windows down being an offence)

I really doubt the parents will get a lawyer, there's no reason to even say things like that this isn't the OC it's real life the parents won't even care let alone take him to court...

...sheesh so melodramatic

how does not having an exhaust mean you can't drive/steal a car? sounds like a form of theft prevention i haven't heard of.

Well it hasn't been driven in about 15 years and the entire exhaust plus the manifold is removed. Would've loved to see the kids face though, imagine a 17 yr old staring at it with the keys in his hand knowing he can't steal it!!

No, it's not a stupid law, it's there to protect idiots from themselves.

A perfect example of this would be the 2 year old who went missing, and was later found dead after they climbed into an open vehicle and died because it was too hot in there.

Mate sorry to hear about your steering wheel getting flogged. Want to know how bad the justice system really is? This happened to a mate.

Its stories like that which makes me wish capital punishment was brought back in...

Cut their hands off, I mean 39 charges and they got nothing. Put them in jail let the big boys sort them out...

Its the lastest craze...

Hallelujah.

Someone sees the light.

teazn_r33, I assume by your numberplates that you live in Victoria.

Are you aware that in Victoria, it is an offence to leave windows down/doors unlocked on your vehicle while it's unattended?

(It's somewhat hidden, but it's certainly law)

Take some responsibility, you're just as guilty as they are.

By sitting on this kid, you could have injured him.

Sure, you had the right to detain him, but if the child sustained any injury from your actions, you could end up in a whole lot of hot water.

If the parents have good lawyers, prepare to get bent over.

Assault WAY outweighs theft in court.

i love the comment where you seem to think its my fault haha

tell me this y was the lil EDITED RACISM c**t in my f**king front lawn, my parents havnt work fot the last 35 year so some lil shit can come onto their land that they brought

if you got out of fairy land and lived in a town whereyou would see the ariseing problem with thugs wanna be gangstas lil goverment feed c*@ts you can see them anywhere they dont just put them in cetain areas

since the sydney olympics alot of problem where shipped out of sydney and put into regional places to make australai look good this is a fact as alot of them were shipped to where i live

its their right to do wat they want (so they think)

so what am i ment to do instead of sitting on him let him go without getting dealt with is comments like that, that let these kids get away with their crimes

the female sargent when i ADMITED to sitting on him and also he getting a cut lip from trying to escape and falling over she said and i quote " is that all you did to him, i would have done more than that" she also knew him name and his mothers and his address and also the one that got away she knew his address just by his first name they are regulars with the law inforcement

and yes the window was done as i have the motor out of the car atm with no battery the car was under the carport before hand and for one day i took it out to clean it up wash the car and engine bay the covers where on the car but they still sem to think it is there right to take my sH*t

Wow, I was wondering where they went!! When I lived in Surry Hills/East Redfern in like 97-99, it was 'ay sista you gotta dollah/cigarette' ..ALL the time. I even got 'mugged' at an ATM once.. except I grabbed her, almost broke her arm and got my money back.. anyway long story, she got arrested and I broke into tears AFTER she ran away lol.

The biggest problem back then was you couldn't really say no to giving them money, but if you got out a wallet or reached into your bag for one, that's when they'd stick a knife into you and take your wallet. Noice!

Anyway.. when I first went back a few years ago, after 2000, there was no-one! All shipped out. Couldn't believe my eyes. Nice that the gov't would ship them out for the olympics... but not for the decent locals who couldn't even walk to the station in peace, pfft. Sorry that you have to put up with them now. If only we could ban them from buying alcohol, they have no tolerance to it unfortunately. Ironically as Europeans it's our own fault, much like Cane Toads.

the kid is that dumb he told me where he lives and to drop the bike around haha pfft like f**k

LOL!! oh im in tears. just tax the bikes, and if ur required to give them back just take back the handlebars and say uve got no idea where the rest of it is.

Its the lastest craze... :(

wow mad i never really thought of it that way!

...hmmmmmm, to be honest your experience has sort of embittered me of starting my own business..

granted my business plan is COMPLETELY different to yours, but I just am very worried about going down that road... I'm confident that I will make a successful business.. but I'm worried that if it doesn't go as a success... it's not really the sort of business someone will be interested in buying....

you seem very wise in this sense though man!

Fair point.

But the justice system must be failing these kids if they keep reoffending.

Maybe if they received better support after their first offense they wouldn't reoffend.

Town stocks were always a great place to meet up and recycle your excrement/foodstuffs. Just imagine___you are meeting friends, having fun, doing your bit for the environment, adding to the town compost heap...........and you know where to dig if you want any worms for bait, and best of all at the same time you are rehabilitating a wayward soul.

Its all WIN< WIN< WIN

nice work!!

but everyone is young and stupid at some point in time....how stupid depends on the individual

it was probly a dare or something gay like that

lol maybe thats what happened the other 39 times aswell

Now.... take the 2 mountain bikes to a pawn shop and you should get enough for a new steering wheel :) sounds like they just wanted to swap ur wheel for there 2 bikes :D

That will teach the little shits to try screwing over a Skyline owner. Just tell them either you get ur wheel back otherwise there 2 bikes are a fair trade in for the wheel.

Cheers BOOSTA

    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
    • Hi,  Just joined the forum so I could share my "fix" of this problem. Might be of use to someone. Had the same hunting at idle issue on my V36 with VQ35HR engine after swapping the engine because the original one got overheated.  While changing the engine I made the mistake of cleaning the throttle bodies and tried all the tricks i could find to do a throttle relearn with no luck. Gave in and took it to a shop and they couldn't sort it. Then took it to my local Nissan dealership and they couldn't get it to idle properly. They said I'd need to replace the throttle bodies and the ecu probably costing more than the car is worth. So I had the idea of replacing the carbon I cleaned out with a thin layer of super glue and it's back to normal idle now. Bit rough but saved the car from the wreckers 🤣
    • After my last update, I went ahead with cleaning and restoring the entire fuel system. This included removing the tank and cleaning it with the Beyond Balistics solution, power washing it multiple times, drying it thoroughly, rinsing with IPA, drying again with heat gun and compressed air. Also, cleaning out the lines, fuel rail, and replacing the fuel pump with an OEM-style one. During the cleaning process, I replaced several hoses - including the breather hose on the fuel tank, which turned out to be the cause of the earlier fuel leak. This is what the old fuel filter looked like: Fuel tank before cleaning: Dirty Fuel Tank.mp4   Fuel tank after cleaning (some staining remains): Clean Fuel Tank.mp4 Both the OEM 270cc and new DeatschWerks 550cc injectors were cleaned professionally by a shop. Before reassembling everything, I tested the fuel flow by running the pump output into a container at the fuel filter location - flow looked good. I then fitted the new fuel filter and reassembled the rest of the system. Fuel Flow Test.mp4 Test 1 - 550cc injectors Ran the new fuel pump with its supplied diagonal strainer (different from OEM’s flat strainer) and my 550cc injectors using the same resized-injector map I had successfully used before. At first, it idled roughly and stalled when I applied throttle. Checked the spark plugs and found that they were fouled with carbon (likely from the earlier overly rich running when the injectors were clogged). After cleaning the plugs, the car started fine. However, it would only idle for 30–60 seconds before stalling, and while driving it would feel like a “fuel cut” after a few seconds - though it wouldn’t fully stall. Test 2 – Strainer swap Suspecting the diagonal strainer might not be reaching the tank bottom, I swapped it for the original flat strainer and filled the tank with ~45L of fuel. The issue persisted exactly the same. Test 3 – OEM injectors To eliminate tuning variables, I reinstalled the OEM 270cc injectors and reverted to the original map. Cleaned the spark plugs again just in-case. The stalling and “fuel cut” still remained.   At this stage, I suspect an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, caused during the cleaning process. This has led me to look into getting Frenchy’s fuel hanger and replacing the unit entirely. TL;DR: Cleaned and restored the fuel system (tank, lines, rail, pump). Tested 550cc injectors with the same resized-injector map as before, but the car stalls at idle and experiences what feels like “fuel cut” after a few seconds of driving. Swapped back to OEM injectors with original map to rule out tuning, but the issue persists. Now suspecting an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, possibly cause by the cleaning process.
