Well another Deca!!!!

I swear i wouldnt say this last time but It got better!!!

Huge thanx to Tony for letting me drive his car all day and James for the few cheater laps i did in the evo at the end of the day even if i did stuff up my last run :)

Was ace to see Team NSW again im sure to be back in Syd again for some drinks :)

And Team Wang what more can i say... We beat them

Some good results. Thanks Chris for putting them together.

I think I need to be more aggressive next time to get higher up the list but 2 cones and 2 half spins really puts you back. 5th RWD is ok though. Good driving Ryan and Jarrod. Get up there! Also Dave1200. Good stuff!

thankx to chris for doing the results.

woo hoo i am not the slowest 4wd there. thankx to someone who was going more for style points than actual times :)

on a serious note i am also happy to see that i have improved, seeing i am faster than that pesky echo :) hope to see you all there on the next one. and yes i should try and learn how to do handbrake turns, might have helped me on the last two mokahanas.

also would publically like to thank my navigator, whose tireless efforts ment that i went the correct way, even though i was wanting to go the wrong way all the time :-)

    • Did some FASTing ...got the impression that the actual part# was a moot point ; seems all of these hardlines for coolant are discontinued/NLA... like, I take it you're after the hardline that bolts onto to the manifold...that's NLA according to amayama & nengun .... ...just to clear up some confusion, they typically mounted the AAC valve to the intake manifold somewhere near a coolant passage, so the body of the valve heats up & holds it open when engine's up to temp - no coolant flows through the valve, it's a mechanical, thermal connection.
    • And now the bloody flapper is jammed slightly open. Lazy as all f**k in 3rd-5th (very hard to convince it to make much boost before you run out of revs), but will make 12 psi in 1st, which shouldb't be possible with a 5 psi spring and controller set to <10 psi. Methinks I'm lucky it jammed where it did, rather than fully closed. It's actually a well weird situation. Careful examination of what's happening in the back of that housing when the gearbox comes out and all the other stuff (injectors, AFM retune) is supposed to be done, next week.
    • The powder coating came in at $250 EACH. The TRX rims got a coat of clearcoat on the outside only.
    • Bit wet, but YUMMY
    • Keeping in mind that I am currently getting flat 10 L/100km on my RB25DET, which means >>500km/tank. I would test this car for vacuum leaks, check codes and AFM signal with NissDataScan as D says, check plugs, do a compression check while they are out.
