was also seconds before wifey got done crossing double lines on the freeway! (haha, 135 and 3 points!)

Aah thought it was you :) Yeah Karen (SMR33) and I were looking at a unit in the complex, heard an RB and a few seconds later you guys came around the corner lol

Sucks about your missus getting booked though :(

haha, i was laughing at her, shes always giving it to me about what a good driver she is!

well, now shes not so perfect! (and it could have been a lot worse if the coppa had rocked up a few seconds earlier)

we got monaroed!

I think I saw Spook's 4 door parked in the Valley tonight, I also saw a red R33 2 door skyline with the center of the front bar removed, it went past me as I was pulling out from the QA hotel in the Valley. And I also saw a silver R33 4 Door driving on Gympie Road at Aspley, I waved but I dont tihnk you noticed me.

OK, I will do it......

Saw three really nice Series 2 R33's parked nose to tail outside a great italian restaurant in Indooroopilly last night. Also parked nearby but in a much "safer" location was a blue R32 that looked very stock!! NOT!

(pity about the silver one's bonnet though, looks like some very angry fruit bats shat on it and it was never washed off....)

IT is stock...especially the engine type :) rego says so :)

spotted andy on sherwood rd las nite.. waved but u didnt see me.. fark i wish they would hurry up and finish that resurface...

Sorry I missed you bud....you car really is a Q ship!!!

Spotted a white R34 sedan (with eastcoast customs sticker) and a black 34 coupe in the valley at about 9pm. I waved but didn't see a response.

Also saw an R33 with an SAU sticker outside the Fringe Bar.

Apologies there, dale82au!

I had in the back seat a very discontent child and my attention was on her and getting home quick!. I did see you in the rear vision....huge intercooler with no front bar right? I thought you would overtake me at some stage but you took your exit....so I'm sure there'll be next time...definite waves when that time comes around!

yeah thats me.. yeah goin thru inala i saw ya mrs leaning into the back seat actually

lookin forward to the next time and we can wave to our hearts content

nice car bro,,, is it against the rules to ask what that cost ya?

never overtook ya cause points are "preciousssssss"

(edit) "and i couldnt overtake you if u didnt want me to no doubt lol" (edit)

All must wave!! If one of us doesn't wave it is a downhill spiral from there!! Keep waving!! We must make it an acceptable practice!!

I wave to skyline people, espcially when I see an SAu sticker. But you all look at me funny as if I am some sort of lower class. I feel that is wrong, anti social, mean, and just in general not very friendly. Please wave. I mean how many people have bright red cefiros with dark wheels. Let me think... 1 in Australia? WAVE AT ME DAMN IT!

    • Yeah well per the video it took 15s for the stock unit to start up....even if I give it a few seconds discount for starting that is at least 12 sec before you get a reverse camera if you are trying to leave a park.  The android unit is way faster, but 2016 for the stock unit is a long time ago in consumer electronics
    • Yea that’s why I said ima test them with multimeter and see the reads.
    • Only at idle. Isn’t a problem when rev it seems.
    • @Haggerty This seems silly to ask, but are you confident in your ability to tune the Haltech?
    • Next on the to-do list was an oil and filter change. Nothing exciting to add here except the oil filter is in a really stupid place (facing the engine mount/subframe/steering rack). GReddy do a relocation kit which puts it towards the gearbox, I would have preferred towards the front but there's obviously a lot more stuff there. Something I'll have to look at for the next service perhaps. First time using Valvoline oil, although I can't see it being any different to most other brands Nice... The oil filter location... At least the subframe wont rust any time soon I picked up a genuine fuel filter, this is part of the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank. Access can be found underneath the rear seat, you'll see this triangular cover Remove the 3x plastic 10mm nuts and lift the cover up, pushing the rubber grommet through The yellow fuel line clips push out in opposite directions, remove these completely. The two moulded fuel lines can now pull upwards to disconnect, along with the wire electrical plug. There's 8x 8mm bolts that secure the black retaining ring. The fuel pump assembly is now ready to lift out. Be mindful of the fuel hose on the side, the hose clamp on mine was catching the hose preventing it from lifting up The fuel pump/filter has an upper and lower section held on by 4 pressure clips. These did take a little bit of force, it sounded like the plastic tabs were going to break but they didn't (don't worry!) The lower section helps mount the fuel pump, there's a circular rubber gasket/grommet/seal thing on the bottom where the sock is. Undo the hose clip on the short fuel hose on the side to disconnect it from the 3 way distribution pipe to be able to lift the upper half away. Don't forget to unplug the fuel pump too! There's a few rubber O rings that will need transferring to the new filter housing, I show these in the video at the bottom of this write up. Reassembly is the reverse Here's a photo of the new filter installed, you'll be able to see where the tabs are more clearing against the yellow OEM plastic Once the assembly is re-installed, I turned the engine over a few times to help build up fuel pressure. I did panic when the car stopped turning over but I could hear the fuel pump making a noise. It eventually started and has been fine since. Found my 'lucky' coin underneath the rear seat too The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLJ65pmQt44&t=6s
