Can't beleive ch10 are going head to head with bathurst. I reckon if the broadcast started at 4pm they would double the audience

As soon as Ch10 start thinking with that mindset, there will be ZERO grand prix shown live. Do you really want that? f**k no I'd rather watch F1 and tape Bathurst! :(

To 10's credit, the way F1 is shown on HD is great (live and with minimal crap-chatting by our commentators). They are still showing it delayed at 9:50pm on regular Ch10, so you got what you wanted anyway :)

gives you the choice anyway- as Ben said, you could watch bathurst and record the F1 and watch it straight after the 'super' cars finish, or just wait for the SD broadcast

the delayed broadcast actually starts at 10:50

p.s- you think James Allen is any better to listen to than our guys? lol

Well Bourdais is in the Top 10, so with Webber nowhere need to start backing him :)

And...big question will be is when Kimi turns it on in the race, will Hamo just chill out and take P2? He must know that on turn 1 off the line Kimi is going to put him to the test. Kimi wants a win, Lewis just needs to stay ahead of Massa...but i wonder if Lewis can handle not trying to race?

It will be interesting to see which Lewis rocks up to race...the egotistical or the yet to be seen intelligent?

He and Heikki will get perfect starts, Heikki will pull a swifty past Kimi into the first corner, then they will maintain their positions for a glorious McLaren 1-2 finish at the end of the race.

Just wait and see :)

:laughing-smiley-014: In my crystal ball ,

I See a mclaren in bits !!

And much red on the podium !

cheers cokey

Yeh, in years past i would have hoped a McLaren got home before anything red...but these days i would love to see a giant Panda run into the pits and rip the pit team to pieces during a Hamo pit stop. Heikki, well he can just continue to circulate and do whatever it is he does....perhaps he gives good reach arounds on the team bus?

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
