No Crust Racing
Haven't ever really bothered for anything beyond the first exercise, really good stretch first then some light reps of whatever the first exercise is then by the time I'm done on that I'm usually already warmed up or things get warm from racking weights etc. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/450/#findComment-7038791 Share on other sites
bozodos
that's actually what I meant yeah, before the first exercise more than anything! No Crust Racing
I'm an officer worker so I do a lot of mobility stretching first. bozodos
before I squatted today, I squatted at bodyweight with my hamstrings touching calves and held the position for 20 seconds - that helped a lot to loosen me up to start squatting! No Crust Racing
That's the sort of thing I'd be doing before squatting when it was first up. Birds
Work through the motion itself without weight first, it's not hard. If you can do it without weight you can probably do it with. If you can't do it without weight you likely can't do it with. Trozzle
I actually find it harder to do the proper motion without weight haha....though it's leg day for me today, definitely going to give just squatting for a minute a go before I get into it. Birds
If you can't do it without weight, your mobility sucks harder than a hoover. Yes it's easier to stabilise the body with added weight that you can move around; circus acrobats use a bar on the tightropes. But you shouldn't have to depend on it to do the movement, else you probably have stability/form issues in the movement when using weight too. -FIGJAM-
Yeah I didn't pit Cuttler woth much of a chance. Personally hoping Kai would take ot away but of of the top 3 I thought Wolf had the best bod of the lot. No idea how the judges determine the winner of these events Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/450/#findComment-7045688 Share on other sites

Trozzle
Any kind of competition that relies on the opinion of another to decide a winner is bound to be flawed as all f**k from the beginning Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/450/#findComment-7046201 Share on other sites
No Crust Racing
Squatting question as I've been thinking about what I may have been doing wrong previously to aggravate my back/leg. In the lowest point of the motion, I notice my butt will tuck under a little which implies some rounding in the lower back, is that allowed/a problem/should be avoided etc? Or should I only go as low as I can before my butt wants to roll/tuck under?
