Do you warm up and mobility your wrist joints, I'm getting a little bit long in the tooth now and if I don't warm up everything I get pain everywhere, LOL :(

And as we are coming into colder weather warm ups and mobility are even more important to keep injuries at bay.

You guys may benefit from taking a week to two weeks off.

Muscle I'm guessing heals quicker than cartilage and inflamed joints; you may feel a lot better after a decent break. I think it's good for the muscles too, to have an extended period of rest every now and then, particularly if you're lifting heavy most of the time.

When I get sick and this forces me to stop gym for a week or two, I almost always come back stronger (eventually) after that annoyingly long period of making your way back. I'm pretty sure that's because everything has been well rested and properly healed. Probably a good idea to do mobility stretches in the second week too.

I had 2 weeks holiday and only gym'ed 3 times in that period. Then after coming back, and getting sick, I had another full week off.

The cold affects me much more in that regard these days. I'm on the comeback trail at the moment, Monday felt good but last night was really weak, though by the time I got into the gym room it was 8:45 so energy levels were not stellar lol

That parenting life.

Yeah I mean 2 weeks without gym...nothing, nada. And gorge on food. That's 14 days of solid recovery with the fuel to do it. You might come back a tad weaker but your body will love you for it!

Of course there's nothing you can really do about old tired joints or degeneration :(

underhand grip doing rows puts the wrists in a bent back position.

and using a straight bar means they are bent back and twisted out. Then from there they get pulled upwards by the arms, and downwards by gravity.

Use double overhand grip.

either thumb under or over to see what works best.

my left wrist is f**ked as well, had a month off while I was on holidays still coming back every session eventually gets too painful and have to stop certain movements

starting to strap it before workouts.. see how that goes :\

    • All my Polish car culture insight comes from watching Nightride. So I half expect this to get 1UZ swapped eventually?! Are you going to drive it in winter? I'm always curious how ATTESA would hold up in the snow. There isn't that much opportunity to try it in Australia.
    • My steering lock unit on my Infiniti G37 has failed. The car is a local 2012 Infiniti G37 (Q60 ) I need to replace the unit My local mechanic said i need to buy a complete steering wheel assembly. Does anybody no any mechanics in Gold Coast or Brisbane who can fix this issue or where i can buy just the Steering lock control unit. Thanks
    • thanks, will conduct myself accordingly. i unfortunately put about 150 miles on the car before reading this thread again, however no PS issues, and definitely no turbo issues. it spools normally and still feels fast to me, probably because my previous car was an N/A auto sedan...gonna go fix the PS vacuum line though lol. safe to say, got what i came to this thread for. thanks
    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
