Will Sau Be Holding A Motorkhana Ever?

Yo guys,

I took my car down to the OzMazda motorkhana and damn was it great!

Just wondering if SAU will ever hold one, I only see drag and track days in the events section....

We will be having two days held at Sutton Road this year.

There are a couple events on a skidpan (this time hopefully dry!!) which is a 'khana style event and then there is a "back road/hill climb" track section also.

Its a great weekend away and is all booked, just in the stages of getting it finalised

oh nice, sounds like something I'll definately attend!

What is the estimated day and cost? So I can start preparing.... still need an oil cooler for my car, was seeing oil temps at around 120 degrees and water at close to 100 at the motorkhana.

non mebers like 130 or so?

the runs arent that long so you the temps dont quite get up there which is good

the back track was around 2km or so with chicanes and everything! I did it in 1.40 (5th fastest ) and I think the times ranged from 1.38 to 2.02

That course is WAY too small

actually it looks about right size for a CAMS standard motorkhana course.

The courses we run are bigger, suit heavier more powerful cars better.
