Nytsky's Engine Build

Recommended Posts

Paul im already thinking of a 2.8 or a 3l combo and i dont even have this motor in yet. I swear i have a serious problem :P

I think we are all infected by the same disease. :(

on the 2J comment you made...

a few weeks ago i was trying to convince Stacey's dad to put a 2Jz into his diesel mercedes

BTW your covers look awesome...there is 11 different tinters in Bayside Blue including a lot of white pearl...not a cheap colour to mix.

I thought it looked cleaner than the one i gave you....Is that a gift lol

nah its the same one...just gave it a good degrease. It must have been replaced by the previous owner...as it had non standard sealer on it as well.

The one i gave you was an N1 water pump??? Awesome!

I am the first owner since the car landed so it would have been done in Japan. Are the fins different? How can you tell?

Actually now that i remember. UAS did a full major service on it when they put the cams in,which included a water pump. I thought they just put a standard one on there.

I guess not.

im about to replace my water pump (have to do the timing belt so may as well do the water pump to be safe) is there much benefit in using an N1 pump over using a standard?
