White r33 no wing popping a lil flame at about 7 25 this morning on springvale rd turning onto governor rd. Plates SLT***.

And I think i saw danielles drftn6 on greens rd headed toward eastlink tonight bout 5 10 ish? Was goin other way in kris' car.

This morning about 7:40am.

Spotted a white S2 Stagea turning on to Highbury Rd just near Warrigul Rd Burwood.

30 Seconds later noticed a white 4door R34 following just behind in the right lane on Highbury Rd.

Then I was following a white 2door R33 on Camberwell Rd 5minutes later until I overtook it :D

Spotted Charles from a mile off this morning. Decided I would spool up and scare him with my BOV (he was stopped in traffic on the opposite side of the road) but he saw me and waved at the last second :D Ruined my fun.

LOL, maybe my music was up too loud, I couldn't hear anything at all :D

But as soon as I saw a red MR2, I knew it was you (just like your supra) lol

Crazy how you still drive the MR2 down to Dandenong, I've seen so many po po's around that area

just driving home along reynolds road behind a burgandy r33 gtst s1 - had some big damage to the back of the car.. :D looked like someone has gone into it pretty hard..

i wasnt in skyline >,<

Five mins ago spotted a silver 33gtst driving from greensborough to eltham... I think they work towards greensborough because I seen it before heading the other way in the morning.

Also spotted 2 R34's on the ring road heading city bound just after PV Road, silver and white.

Damn, I'll have to make it louder next time :P

And I agree with popo in Dandenong. I just have to drive carefully and not let the BOV go off.

This morning I boosted fairly hard on Cheltenham Road - massive pshh, geared down into second and stopped at the lights right next to the cops.

As soon as I realised I shat myself! But they didn't do anything :):(:)

    • I don't know it is due to that. It could just be due to load on track being more than a dyno. But it would be nice to rule it out. We're talking a fraction of a second of pulling ~1 degree of timing. So it's not a lot, but I'd rather it be 0... Thicker oil isn't really a "bandaid" if it's oil that is going to run at 125C, is it? It will be thicker at 100 and thus at 125, where the 40 weight may not be as thick as one may like for that use. I already have a big pump that has been ported. They (They in this instance being the guy that built my heads) port them so they flow more at lower RPM but have a bypass spring that I believe is ~70psi. I have seen 70psi of oil pressure up top in the past, before I knew I had this leak. I have a 25 row oil cooler that takes up all the space in the driver side guard. It is interesting that GM themselves recommend 0-30 oil for their Vette applications. Unless you take it to the track where the official word is to put 20-50w oil in there, then take that back out after your track day is done and return to 0-30.
    • Nice, looks great. Nice work getting the factory parts also. Never know when you'll need them.
    • Thanks @jtha7 I will have a look around tomorrow but it is a prick of a spot. These are some photos i tried taking
    • I take it that the knock retard is from bearings tapping a little tune? Thicker oil is a fragile bandaid. You need a much bigger oil cooler and probably the bigger pump being discussed.
    • Hi @Chupapy i had several leaks from coolant pipes being corroded, i also had one leak on back of the head onto transmission. For me that leak was from the turbo water line. Follow the line to the back of the head The hose and metal pipe had perished these are the best pics I took of it at the time
