where did master yoda go?

he was in here for ages and hasnt posted anything.

i guess the point i was trying to make is are gtrs's the best response/low down power turbo for the 25?

boost maybe!

power far from it....

boost isnt everything.

im not really hinting anything BH im just opening another line of thought into the whole responsive thing.

most people enjoy going fast and to consider what i have achieved at such low speed without cam timing adjustments, i was just opening up some conversation on the matter.

our guru disco allways says that a gt35 is too much for a street car, but why is it making the most power at low revs?

and then more power compared to the gt30 based units?

How much preload/time is before the run? (ie, are you waiting till boost it built off the auto/stall) or are you just launchin into it ?

Ah Yoda

no stalling up on the convertor just a normal run.

i just thought it was interesting.

And it is. Sometimes people have to step sideways to move forwards.

Up in a bigger league, the GTRS may look a little insipid, but I don't think it's at all disgraced.

The strangest thing about upsizing is the different feeling of response. Maybe the sounds contribute to that as well?

Look at torque down low rather than power.

400Nm at 3000rpm is 126kW.

400Nm at 6500rpm is 272kW.

126kW doesn't sound as impressive but the torque output of the motor is the same..expecting heaps of power down low is unrealistic from a 2.5, but i bet the GTRS-equipped RB25s make useful torque way lower than the GT35.
