If any of the dealers know if/when the V44 becomes available with peak and hold high current drivers let me know because I need a wire in computer .

Cheers Adrian .

buy a V88 ya tightass.

Its not a case of being tight , its just extra money for a computer that has things a four cylinder can't use . The money would be better spent on other bits and pieces .

It may sound silly to some but Ive pull out the Motec M800 and back in goes the old PowerFC with a good tune, I wish I had of spent the money on a 2.8 stroker :) , the new ECU sounds good thou.

put two engines in it...one for the rear wheels and one for the front that way all the driver outputs (ignition and injection) are utilised....problem solved!

I have confirmed with Ray that they have made a plug and play computer for the RB25 Neo motor.

This means we have two options of the Power FC and now the Vipec. :)

But only has 4 ignition drivers unless you want to get a V88.

Hopefully haltech will release more plug and play models

Not sure about that, I mentioned Haltech to my tuner and he nearly threw up! That and I personally have not seen many high end GTR's with Haltechs to sway me.

yeah the old Haltech stuff was pretty poor....especially the tuning software. From all reports the new stuff is much improved...but it had to be to have any share of the market.

    • I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).
    • Lol.. but then.. always come back to a JDM..
    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
