Hey all,

Just wondering if some one with a set of the stock 18*9 r34 gtr rims could stick them on a set of bathroom scales and post up the weight for me. I've weighed the stock r32 gtr rims with tyres at 15.5kg each which are extremely light. The r34 rims are obviously bigger and should weigh more, but i was just wondering what they did weigh. With or without tyres does matter, just want a rough idea.

:)

don't forget a factory R34GTR wheel is forged by rays anyway...

made by BBS love muffin. you know that!

32 GTR, 33 GTR, 34 GTR and 32 GTR Vspec wheels are all made by BBS Japan. only 35 GTR wheels they switched to Rays. all are forged alloy. fun fact for the kids.

I also was under the assumption that RAYS made the 32/33/34 GTR rims, but then again the V Spec were quite obviously BBS... makes sense.

yeah, it's a bit of a myth, but I can promise you the 32/33/34 wheels were all made exclusively for nissan by BBS japan. I have a big article here somewhere from a japanese GTR magazine about it.

regarding the weight I would guess 34 GTR wheel at around 9-10kg.

They are well under 9 kg, between 8.5 and 9 for sure . I have weighed them before , they are lighter that R33 GTR rims.

    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? Don't mind to spend for a decent quality  Thx
    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
