A car before had dumped oil on the track, and the Lotus and Ferrari where the first ones on the scene of the accident, before the flaggies had a chance to get the oil flag out.

it was the lotus that left the oil on the track. and was stationary in the sand trap when the ferrari found the oil.

both cars are write off's. peter is looking at a few cars presently

Not good at all... I heard about this when I was watching Speedweek coverage of the event. Real shame, hope they both recover soon.

Oh Ok, I heard that it was the other Lotus in the field that had dropped the oil, and the Ferrari and Lotus that went off where following the first one.
