I would get yours remapped. every car is different. I dont think getting someone elses tuned computer would be good as each car has its own individual characteristics.

as for the parts: new pump around $300 - $400 regulator $200 - $300. as for injectors i havent really looked around but i think 2nd hand im guessing around $400 for the 6... not too sure

im going to try with stock injectors.

remap really depends, ive heard around $750 is about the usuall going rate.

If u are going to go more than 230rwkw you will have to change injectors i think, i would even consider possibly a bigger turbo than a 2530 - to make it a little easier, but remember the 2530 is very responsive anything bigger and your power range will be alot higher in the rev range.

well im not too sure to be honest, i asked for an 044 but the guy getting it reckons thats over kill he rattled the name of it but i cant remember. something like 58... i dunno its about $300 (and thats with some sort of discount) it supports alot more power than i need and fits in-tank easily.

Have you put yours on the dyno yet?

I just put a bosch 910 in my car. After installing the td06-20g turbo the car with the stock ecu and fuel pump was getting very lean towards the top end of the power curve. The new fuel pump really made a big difference, now the car runs much more richer. So instead of forking out for injectors I'm gonna do the ecu with just a fuel regulator and try and keep the car to around 350-370hp. I'd love to crack 400hp, but if I crack that I think I'm gonna have to crack open the engine and put better internals in. The pump was $220inc gst and fitting was around $125inc gst.

yeah they are very cheap.

I just got the sexy sard regulator. probably a bit wanky, but it has anodized blue fittings and machined look. i got it very cheap tho with the skyline adaptor plate. so it fits straight in too.

Im just wondering whether the car cut out due to an airflow cut or because it sensed the pump couldnt cope...

anyone know if skylines do have fuel cuts? because i was running higher boost with the std turbo.

ECUs that are re-mapped on a bench arent exactly the best way to go. It assumes a lot of things concerning your engine.

It can work and im sure it has worked for ppl out there, but as an absolute minimum i suggest you get your car dyno'd to check A/F ratios once you have your bench written ECU installed. Just to be sure its not way off.

The beauty of getting car tuned on dyno is that the good places (read expensive) monitor fuel rail pressure and flow, injector duty, use forms of knock detection etc etc to be sure that the increase in power isnt going to shorten the life of your pride and joy.

i got my Sard Reg from Envy imports. they had them in stock with all adaptor plates and fittings for standard 8mm hose or threaded fittings for braided line.

very helpful and had what i needed in stock. they even ordered the pump i wanted and i received it that very day.

i hate having to wait :P

Yeah they are actually cheaper. they have the Reg with the skyline adaptor (usually $30 or something) with fittings for $330 total

i was pretty stolked with the price as most other retailers were selling for $340 without adaptor or fittings

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
